Title: Happy Mistake
Review: Having read too quickly I thought I was ordering the movie when in fact it was the music from the movie. Rather than return I decided to keep and glad I did. Both "Marigold" movies I think appealed to the older generation, but the music can be enjoyed by all who like listening to different genres in music. Since "Slum Dog Millionaire" I have found Indian music delightful and again in this CD from the relaxing melodies to the lively wedding music. Makes you want to get up and dance!

Title: Exotic Gold
Review: I loved that they picked up where they left off. The Dames are at it again too. Bumbling Bill Nighy was wonderful as the inept guide that had to have a prompter while giving a tour of one of Jaipur's sites. Judy, who looked just so lovely in the Indian setting as was M aggie Smith who can deliver a come back as well as she does as she does on Downton Abbey. Indian culture, including a little Ballywood was a treat to see, especially the wedding ceremony. So swing those arms and your booty to the strains of Indian movies and sit back and watch the slightly mad world that surrounds the occupants of the Mos Exotic Marigold Hotel with the handsone addition of Richard Gere as the inspector, whom was not whom he seemed but was while another inspector for a rival company was there playing spy vs. spy with each other.

Review: Doesn't compare to the first sound track; Newman, repeats a lot of the motifs from the first CD on the second CD. There is little originality here

Title: Great album
Review: I like Thoman Newman's interpreted Indian music. I own both albums and am happy to say there is enough variety in the songs to justify owning both soundtracks. The instrumentation is wonderfully light, the music enjoyable to hear either in direct listening or as ambient sounds for background. The phonics are good. I do hope cd companies ditch the plastic in favor of paper/cardboard covers. Aside from that, it's all good

Title: A bit disappointed.
Review: I accidently ordered the CD not the DVD. I then organised with Amazon to send me the DVD, but I recieved The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, not The second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I must admit I gave up. I now have two of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel DVD's. Very disappointed, as I have never had any previous trouble with Amazon. Would still love to get The Second Best Marigold Hotel DVD, but I guess I will have to try again one day!!

Title: VERY ENTERTAINING
Review: HATE TO SAY IT BUT I ORDERED BY MISTAKE. THOUGHT I WAS GETTING THE MOVIE. HOWEVER, IT IS VERY ENJOYABLE AND HAVE NOW ORDERED THE MOVIE TOO. SAW IT IN THEATER AND BOTN THE FIRST MOVIE AND THIS ONE IS CUTE AND A LOT OF FUN. I GO TO THE MOVIES TO BE ENTERTAINED ANd these filled the bill.

Review: Having loved the first film, Newman's score for the second serves up more of the same, but that's no criticism. Even when some of the tracks seem duplicated, there is enough to delight. My favourite track is 'Sagai'. It's a for a funny, protracted scene in the film, but only I wish Newman could have written a longer version of it, so much do I love it, with it's rolling rythmns, tabla, bells and vocals. The track 'Second Best Exotic' is a version of 'Chimes at Midnight' from the first film, and is one of the loveliest things he has written. And 'Wedding' is a version of another track in the first film which, in it's sustained quiet meditation, fills me with wonder and peace. A joy!I should like to add this: that both soundtracks prepared me for several months travel in India, and I listened to them even as I travelled. None of them seemed at all inauthentic. They accompanied me when I needed them, just as they did the films.

Review: Personnellement, je n'ai pas vu The best exotic Marigold hôtel ainsi que the second best exotic Marigold hôtel .Mais ce que je peux dire, c'est que cette soundtrack est particulièrement réussie !Nous retrouvons bien évidemment la patte du compositeur attitré Thomas Newman, pour une musique relativement calme et relaxante la plupart du temps aux airs indiens et orientaux ...Certains titres tels que "Already gone" ressortent du lot, sont plus rythmées et mouvementées .Nous avons donc encore une fois un album réussi de cet extraordinaire compositeur qu'est Thomas Newman !
