From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Happened One Summer and Hook, Line, and Sinker comes a sexy and hilarious rom-com trilogy about three broke and beautiful strangers who share an apartment in NYC...

College drop-out Roxy Cumberland moved to New York with dreams of becoming an actress, but her dwindling bank account is quickly putting the kibosh on that fantasy. To make some quick cash, she signs up to perform singing telegrams. Her first customer is a gorgeous, cocky Manhattan trust-funder if she ever laid eyes on one. And what could be more humiliating than singing an ode to his junk, courtesy of his recent one night stand? Maybe the fact that she's dressed in a giant pink bunny costume…

After a night out to celebrate winning his last case, lawyer Louis McNally II isn't prepared for the pounding in his head or the rabbit serenading him from the front door. But the sassy wit and sexy voice of the girl behind the mask intrigue him, and one look at her stunning face—followed by a mind-blowing kiss against his doorjamb—leaves Louis wanting more.

Roxy doesn't need a spoiled rich guy who's had everything in life handed to him on a Tiffany platter. But there's more to Louis than his sexy surface and he's determined to make Roxy see it...even if it means chasing her all over NYC.

“Louis and Roxy are a terrific match from the start. But Bailey is a master at portraying a heroine with a complex core, and Roxy’s proud character carries the novel―making readers wish she was their roommate, empty bank account be damned.” – Washington Post

Title: 5 entertaining, sexy, fantastic, page-turning, pink bunny stars!
Review: New Adult is my favorite genre to read. I discovered this genre about two years ago. I was more of a paranormal reader before I was introduced to so many amazing authors in the NA genre. So when my favorite genre and my favorite author are having a party, I'm the first one to attend! :)Chase Me, by Tessa Bailey, was freakin' fantabulous!!! If you have read Tessa's previous books you probably know that the characters that are fighting for her attention in her writing cave (Oh, what would I give to spend a day there!!!) are IRRESISTIBLE! The first installment of Tessa Bailey's new series will give you all the feels. It's sweet, sexy, romantic, funny and panty-melting hot!Chase Me is the story of Roxy Cumberland and Louis Mc Nally II. Roxy's dreams of becoming an actress in New York, but the lack of interest of the people in the show business world is really making her road to success a bumpy one. When she gets kicked out of her apartment because it's one too many times she can't pay the rent, Roxy turns to a job offer that is not was she had hoped for, but that will at least help her put food in her mouth. When she knocks on a door wearing a pink bunny costume the last thing she expect is to come face-to-face with a hot-as-hell guy.Louis has no clue who the girl behind the pink bunny costume is. After an awkward singing telegram, and an even more awkward conversation, he’s intrigued. When she's about to leave he has one request for her: he wants to see her face. What he sees leaves him breathless and the unforgettable kiss she gives him leaves him speechless. Louis will do whatever it takes to find her. When theirs path’s cross again, Louis is determined to show her that there is more to him. Chasing a pink bunny all over New York City is far from easy, but Louis is ready to get in all kinds of trouble to get Roxy.I freakin' loved Chase Me!!! I was cheering for Team Loxy from beginning to end! It's so easy to fall in love with them! When I read one of Tessa's books I feel like two of my good friends are on this incredible journey to finding love. I stick by their side through ups and downs, and I cheer for them in their moments of happiness. The connection that I feel towards these characters is indescribable! Their chemistry is undeniable and out of this world HOT! Their banter between them is crazy addictive and it left me LOL in so many occasions. I loved how both these characters grew together on this journey. They learned a lot from each other and ended up finding love when they least expected it.It shows that Tessa Bailey had a blast writing Chase Me. It was fun, flirty and fantastic! Each time she starts a new series she does a fantastic job at introducing us to the characters that will make us get lost in their worlds. The supporting cast of characters for Chase Me is sublime! They all fit perfectly in the story. I can't wait to read more about all of them. Need Me is the next installment in the Broke and Beautiful series. This will be Honey and Ben's book. Honey is Roxy's roommate and Ben is Louis' good friend. This will be a forbidden student/teacher romance. Eeeeep! So excited to read about these two!!!!I give, Chase Me, by Tessa Bailey, 5 entertaining, sexy, fantastic, page-turning, pink bunny stars!

Title: A sweet and funny read!
Review: Roxy and Louis's story was funny at times, and super hot at others. I loved the premise of this story and this book had me hooked from start to finish.Roxy meets Louis in the most unconventional way.. She's dressed up as a bunny singing him a singing telegram about his ... well you get the point. Roxy is just embarrassed, and Louis is drawn to her without even seeing her face. When he finally sees her, and they share the kiss of a lifetime, Louis can't get Roxy out of his head.Louis doesn't believe in relationships, but something about Roxy makes him want to spend more time with her. I loved seeing him not be the stereotypical man whore, and instead trying to prove her and everyone else wrong. We as readers know who he was before he met Roxy, but instead of slipping into his old ways, he did everything in his power to prove to her he was and could be different for her.Roxy is an amazing character. She's very independent, and strong. She doesn't do relationships of any type. Friends - No, Boyfriends - No, Family - No.. all she has is herself, and she's perfectly happy with it. I loved how she tried to do everything on her own and even though she was stubborn at times, her strength is really something to admire.Watching Roxy come out of her shell and slowly begin to let Louis in was sweet, but I particularly liked Abbie and Honey, her new roommates. These girls cracked me up, and definitely helped bring Roxy out of her shell as well, and they definitely provided some laughs in this book.I loved seeing the playboy, who's never been in a relationship, chasing Roxy all through town trying to get her to give him the time of day and to spend time with him.Not only is this book a humorous love story, but it is also HOT!!! Some of the scenes between Louis and Roxy... wow... just WOW! I loved how I could be laughing one minute and then fanning myself the next. These two are on fire, and I loved this about them. The one thing I wish was different in this book was the ending. I loved their story, but I felt that the ending was too rushed and even though it was a HEA, I felt like we were still missing a whole chunk of their story. I really hope we get more of them and see what's next in their lives in the Honey and Ben's book, because I still have some questions regarding what is next for them!Overall this is a really good book that will have you laughing. This is a sweet romance and a definite quick read.

Title: Fun, but not enough depth
Review: The two main characters fall for each other instantly, so not much tension there. The dialog was fine and it was well enough written, but the hero was a little too perfect to be believable. His one fault (besides that in that past he had been a ladies' man, though he instantly knows that this time it is true love) is that he calls in a favor to get Roxy an audition. He is trying to take care of her when she wants to do this alone. That is not enough of a problem to build a whole story on. He reads her every mood and facial expression correctly, he brings ice cream to her hormonal roommates who are way over the top pms-ing, the sex is amazing, he isn't just a high powered attorney, he also does pro-bono work for the poor, just everything too pat. The scrappy heroine is not even all that likeable, she races to get a cheap apartment in elbows aside the other girl racing for the apartment. Then she curses down to the other girls hoping to get a chance to apply for the apartment and tells them all to leave. And then even though she hands the girl who is renting out the apartment that she can't cash the rent check yet, the girl is okay with all of this, she doesn't want to check out a few of the other girls? That was not believable, nor was the almost instant friendship she had with her roommates. So, although I enjoyed some of the humor and appreciated that the two main characters were honest with each other as much as they could be (barring the H not telling her about the audition), everything else seemed superficial to me.

Hier einige der besten Sätze/Dialoge:Whats his Name? - Rodrigo. What were you calling him? -MarkThere had been one weak Moment in the shower this morning when he'd considered trying to recreate the kiss with the back of his Hand.Dont be a judgemental rabbit. They're the worst.Jesus, please, make it stop.A lesser woman would have applauded.(Ich habe diesmal soviel markiert, ich könnte den halben Tag so weiter machen :))Lese die ganze Reihe: JaLese mehr von der Autorin: JaLese ich noch Mal: JaLeseempfehlung: JABookboyfriend-Potential: 80%

Review: This is one of those books, and series, that were lingering on my TBR list, and I finally said, enough, I'm reading it. Then life happened, and it got delayed, but, I did not push it away, I left on my of reading it next! So glad I did, because I loved it, from the first bunny to the last, these two enchanted me and had me rooting for them all the way through!
