Title: Damaged cases.
Review: Just wanted you to know that I finally got around to opening the case which didn't look damaged and mailing box was ok too. I've held off watching the series as I've been watching stuff from library wuth due dates. Dvd discs appear unharmed. But case clasps are all shattered. Something hit them hard. Just wanted you to be aware. Assume something rough, really rough happened to them. Odd there was no visible damage til I opened the packaging to the individual disc cases

Title: bought this for my daughter
Review: Even tough my daughter was born in 79 she had seen clips and a few specials and really laughed a lot so I bought her this set and she is still watching it several months later. It makes her forget her troubles and she really laughs about the shows.

Title: To me, the funniest seasons
Review: I was around to watch these earliest episodes during the 70's. They were just too funny. I like the original cast the best, Gilda Radner was my favorite. Yes, there have been great comics since then: Dana Carvey, Eddie Murphy, etc. I just loved the earlier seasons the best. Plus it was 90 minutes back in the day. By the way, the DVD's came 2 days earlier than expected and all were in top-notch condition. I haven't gotten a chance to watch anything yet but I will soon. Thank you for the great service too.

Title: The beginning of SNL performs the hilarious comedy of yesteryear
Review: The very beginning of Saturday Night Live is mostly very funny. Some of the jokes and skits arenât funny in my opinion. Itâs a blast from the past. The comedy reflects the humor, and societal values of that time. The people that are offended by past history need to skip this box set. Itâs hilarious but will offend you. For those of you with a sense of humor check it out and watch the beginning of this long running comedy show.

Title: We Love It!
Review: My husband and I crack up every night as we watch each episode. We are very happy copies of the old show are still available. We grew up watching these shows. Thank you for making them available! The funniest episode was the one when Richard Pryor hosted the show.

Title: 2 DVDs did not work!
Review: Season 3 discs 1 and 3 would not play. The other discs worked fine. I tried the two bad ones on two different players.

Title: Great set for the serious SNL fan
Review: I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because there are several "commercial " skits that repeat in other episodes. I have only had time to watch 3 DVD's so far but have enjoyed it. Some good guest hosts and musical entertainers. Brings back memories.
