Review: I'd highly recommend this compilation.It contains full length versions of all the hits The Love I Lost, Wake Up Everybody, If You Don't Know Me By Now, Don't Leave Me This Way etc.,plus several other great songs including four tracks off their best ( 7 track) album Wake Up Everybody.The cd contains 15 tracks compared to the vinyl versions 10 and there's no filler it's all killer - well actually there is one very strange inclusion, which opens the cd, Cabaret, but other than that it's just a bunch of great songs by a great vocal group at their peak.

Review: Teddy Pendergrassが属したソウルグループのベスト盤です。Gamble & Huffが作る曲はやはり質が高いですね。日本人に受けそうなメロディラインなので、特にソウルファンではない人でも楽しめるのではないでしょうか。実際、歌謡曲の帝王・筒美京平も、こういうフィラデルフィア・サウンドを好んで聴いていたそうですし。
