Title: Well published, excellent features
Review: This collection of Poe is a well sized trade paperback with an excellent preface. It also contains a glossary, as some of the language is difficult, as well as Notes.

Title: nice edition for the price
Review: was originally looking to get a hardcover poe stories set after watching Fall of the House of Usher but went for this instead and it's much better than the low price might suggest in quality and has a great selection of his famous stories

Title: Great variety of works
Review: I think most people here are familiar with Edgar Allan Poe, so I feel I only need to drive the point across about the actual book. Coming into the fall season, I'm getting into a Halloween mood. This year I'm feeling classic horror and suspense literature. I hadn't ever gotten any books by Poe despite what I read in school or watched on film and tv, and figured it was time to add some to my literature collection. This collection has about 30 stories and poems (I can't say if it's his entire writings.) Most of all, when I bought a $5 mass market paperback, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a 7" x 9" book complete with notes, glossary and vocabulary. This would be awesome for students, and anyone who has issues reading old-timey prose in general. The not-so-great? Paper is thinner and the font is about 10pt. I know that's not ideal for everyone. Otherwise it's an excellent bargain.

Title: Great Compilation for the Cost!!
Review: I currently have one other, paperback collection of "assorted" works by Edgar Allen Poe. It is an older collection - which I purchased from Scholastic, off of one of my children's monthly "book club" orders - and while I'm not completely unhappy with it, it does not include several of Poe's more popular, more well-known poems which I had become acquainted with while I was in Senior High. THIS book does, and from this particular publisher - is relatively cheap/affordable as well. I already have, and would continue to recommend this collection to anyone out there who is looking for a GOOD, thorough - yet affordable - collection of Poe's works!!

Title: Not the best quality, but it had everything I needed.
Review: Bought this because it was the only Poe anthology with all the stories/poems listed on my American Lit. syllabus (and also because I just love Poe and wanted an anthology of some of his works anyway). The paper is very thin, so my highlighter bled through (I rate each story 1-5 stars, drawing them near the title). It's a great book tho - I don't regret buying it at all.
