Title: This book allows precious time together
Review: This beautiful book! After just being introduced to it, my daughter has asked for it over and over. Reading it is a shared experience. Sometimes it turns into call and response, repeating the beautiful language. Sometimes it's tracing fingers over beautiful paintings. Sometimes it's just repeating the words that resonate to let them sink in. Sometimes this book is a conversation about the questions - we talk about what's on our minds or our faith and spiritual self. When I think I'm too tired to read, this book helps remind me that I'm not alone. This book has already become a ritual in our home.

Title: Deep and accessible all at the same time
Review: Roger Hutchison has gifted us with a way to teach a rule of life to children that is grounded in love and kindness instead of the trite piety/ purity “be a good boy or girl” teaching so often pushed on children. This book assumes, and rightly so, that children can grasp these deeply meaningful spiritual concepts. The poetry is lovely and the illustrations are wonderful and vibrant. I hear there will be a Vacation Bible School curriculum based on this book and I can’t wait to see it!

Title: Part of our nightly bedtime routine
Review: My daughter reads this book every night before bed as part of her winding down routine. She loves the way in makes her feel and believes it helps her have good dreams. Sometimes she reads it alone, and sometimes we read it together. We love the message, the images, and the special time that brings us together!
