Title: The Classic Bedtime Story is Back!
Review: You will love sharing this gorgeous book with the children in your life. The prose is delightful and the illustrations are a visual feast. When you open the cover and turn to the first page, the colorful illustrations jump off the page and the words make you smile. It's a book reminiscent of the storybooks I read my daughter 30 years ago..."A Child's Garden of Verses" by Robert Louis Stevenson (which was illustrated by Tasha Tudor), "The Sugar-Plum Tree" and "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod", both by Eugene Field. There are no Angry Birds or reluctant dragons here. Sarah takes us back to the classic storybook and imbues the verses with simple touches of gratitude: "Was it feeding the birds while they chirp and tweet? It's how birdies say "thanks" for the treat!" This is going to be a children's Classic. One of those books that makes you want to snuggle with the young children in your life, sharing the book with love and a smile. It brought back memories for me of my own childhood when my mother would read my sisters and I to sleep.

Title: For delighted grateful hearts and eyes - a new classic!
Review: This gentle book full of kindness is a perfect way to introduce Ms Breathnach's writing to children. It is also a visual feast with a beautiful timeless message. The moment you open it kids (and inner kids) are introduced to a world with little surprises tucked in every corner. I've already snagged one and will include more on my holiday/birthday lists. It particularly grabbed me in how Ms. Edelson captures animals' whimsy and warmth without resorting to cloying syrupy look. The only thing I would wish is if it were an actual size of a coffee table. I hope (inside) pics are posted or I will do it. Obsessed with the blissful look on the foxes face and all the critters. Whatever draws you in, it will surely become a beloved family classic read again and again. In a world full of disposable 'stuff', that's rather nice. I hope to see this turned into a series.

Title: Thank you Sarah!
Review: I have been reading Sarah Ban Breatnach's books for the last two decades. I love her positive , thoughtful and spiritual delving into everyday life. As someone who loves and collects children's books, vintage and modern, I was overjoyed to see her put her efforts into a children's book. This is wonderful. The lyrical text is beautiful. The artist rendering is beautiful. This is an all around delightful book to enjoy with your children or grandchildren. A real keeper of a storybook that little ones will enjoy. Thank you, Sarah!

Title: Cute rhyming verses.
Review: This is a cute book for a pre-schooler. I bought it for an older child (8) and it is too simplistic. The thought is good, but not for this age child.

Title: Lovely book for cuddling and teaching our children how to appreciate each day.
Review: The best part of my day was reading this book and enjoying the charm and detail of each wonderful illustration. Every parent or grandparent has, in this book, a fantastic way to teach children how to think positively with gratitude. The beautifully detailed artwork will help to open their eyes to the wonderment of the world around them. I look forward to starting the tradition of sharing this book with my grandchildren! Simple but profound thoughts, and beautiful art make this a book to buy or gift for every young family!! Warm and wonderful!!

Title: I love Sarah Breathnach's book
Review: I love Sarah Breathnach's book, but I felt for a children's book there was too much "author's notes" about her previous writings. This I felt was annoying in a bedtime book for little guys.

Title: I loved it. I remembered receiving her 2 Simple Abundance ...
Review: My daughter received a free advanced copy. I loved it. I remembered receiving her 2 Simple Abundance books, one from each of my two daughter's for Mother's Day several years ago. I also remember them having their own copies and using them. So I had to buy each of them a copy. My belief is ... just because you become an adult ... that is no reason you have to miss out on all the wonderful children's books that are being written. Besides, the message of having an attitude of gratitude is for all ages.
