2007 digitally re-mastered two-for from this funky and soulful '70s outfit combines their first two albums for Mercury Records on one CD. Ohio Players enjoyed huge US and European success with their unique brand of music. Skin Tight was released in 1974, followed one year later by Fire. Both albums were very successful, no doubt helped by their sexually provocative covers. The CD comes housed in a slip case and features extensive liner notes. BGO.

Review: Fire is as funky as any CD, but it also rocks HARD! It alone is worth the price of this twin pack. Skin Tight is great but not as strong a collection as Fire.I'm an OP freak. I own dozens of their LPs and CDs. When I found these remastered versions I snatched them up. If you're a fan of Ohio Players or funk classics, you will love this set. They sound great.

Review: I've always been a fan of Ohio Players! I loved their sound, their groove and the funk beats they got! I had the vinyls, then I bought the CDs and when I saw this remaster edition of two of their Best Albums (both Platinum in sales), the price made me pull the trigger on this! The sound is very good and I really suggest this edition. If interested in the group find "Honey" and "Contradiction" and along with those two here, you've got their best works! Cheers!
