Title: It works well!
Review: This works veery well! I beat my eggs and place one in both sides, microwave it UNFOLDED for 2 full minutes, then, I add my cheese, peeppeers, tomatoes, onions, and stuff to only one side and fold it. I put it back in for another full minute. The result is a beautiful, fluffy, tasty, omelette. Easy to clean too. Love it!

Title: Works great!
Review: I bought this so I have something to make eggs in at work. This morning was my first time using it. It was very very simple. I will have to get used to flipping the lid over when there is still a little bit of runny egg in it. You flip it over to continue the cooking. The eggs turned out really well. So much easier than me trying to cook early in the morning so I have a good protein breakfast when I get to work.

Title: You need to experiment with this.
Review: I used a microwave omelet cooker years ago, and liked it, but it "disappeared" , so I decided to order this one. This omelet maker is good. The only problem is with the times listed in the instructions. If you have a small, 900 watt microwave, the cooking time is probably good. But if you have a large 1200 watt, like mine, you can't do it. It overcooks the eggs and turns them rubbery. I had forgotten that from past uses. When I removed the omelet pan with the three egg mixture, after one minute, the eggs had shrunk into the middle of the dish on both sides, not like an omelet, at all. And it was tough, and not moist, like the directions call for. By the time I added my chopped ingredients, and put it back into the microwave to "finish cooking" it was like rubber. But it can be made to work well, and produce nice omelettes.Basically, I suggest tossing the cook time instructions, and work with your omelette with different settings until it comes out right. This may take a few tries. First thing for me was to reset my microwave power to about 60%. I have found, from microwaving scrambled eggs on a plate, that beating a little milk into the egg mixture allows it to cook more evenly, and puff up--about 1 or 2 tsps per egg. Water will work, too, but not as well. Pour the mixture into each side, and set the microwave for the time showed, but open and check it every 15-20 seconds, and stir the mixture to blend the egg curds so they cook evenly. Continue microwaving and stirring until it's nearly set, but still wet in the middle. Remove from oven, add veggies etc., close the container and microwave for about another thirty seconds, then let it sit for a few seconds to finish cookng. I also recommend pre-cooking, or at least pre-warming the filling, because if you cook the omelette long enough to warm the filling, that will also add to the toughness of the eggs.Bottom line, watch your cooking time, and power level, and adjust your method of cooking until you get the right combination for your microwave.

Title: Perfect Restaurant Quality Omelette - Pay Attention To Instruction
Review: One thing I've noticed on many reviews is that people tend not to follow the directions on what they order and then bash the product. I noticed many people complaining about this one, but it seemed so simple, I thought I would give it a try.I think a lot of people don't realize that microwaves have different wattages so that affects everything. If you have a gourmet microwave, the wattage will be higher so you have to set the time accordingly. If you have a cheaper microwave, the wattage might be lower than the average 1000 watts so again, you have to set time accordingly.I have a gourmet microwave and the average microwave so when I tested this out making 2 omelettes, I was able to set the time in the instructions for the regular microwave and everything came out perfect. I had to do 10 seconds less on my gourmet microwave since it's 1100 watts. The process is just two steps. You mix the eggs with your spices and milk (I always find adding milk will make the fluffiest omelettes. Then you pour half on one side and then half on the other. You add the time and when that's over, let the omelettes rest for about 10 seconds. They will normally be a little runny in the middle. You add your ham, bacon, cheese, whatever you desire and then just flip the lids closed. Then you put in for another minute (according to the instructions and how many eggs you have). You take out of the microwave, flip on your plate and that's it.If you do three eggs and add a lot of extras, you might want to put a plate underneath as it might leak out a little. This doesn't happen with 2 eggs. What I did to avoid leakage was just make 2 and a half eggs (since I'm cooking for 2 of us) and there was no issue of that happening.I've tried those pots where you put the eggs in and it winds up knocking the ceramic lid off in the microwave. This is so much easier and better. Plus you can put this in the top section of your dishwasher so no issues with cleaning.

Title: Had texture issues
Review: This is a good product in the sense that you can easily and quickly make an omelet without using oils and stove top. However, I wasn't too keen on the texture of the omelet. I've tried it twice now, and the omelets come out clunky and thick around the edges. I personally prefer a thin, smooth omelet and this product does not achieve the consistency that I like. That said, I only paid under $7 for this product, so I am not too disappointed. It was worth trying, although I will probably try a different stove top option next.

Title: Fast way to a great breakfast....
Review: Sprau first with oil. Crack the eggs right into it, add a teaspoon or so of milk, some peppers, onions, whatever, 2 minute cook time in microwave. Mini omlet will slide right out looking like a real omlet! Can also "fry" as sunny side up etc. Perfect for heating small amoount of left over vegies etc I have 2 now so breakfast for 2 people is a breeze, we both get to eat a hot omlet of different varieties. I love it.
