Title: Fantastically Simple
Review: I am so glad I bought this book instead of some of the others I looked at. This book is chock full of good recipes for baby, but they are all easy to make and not very time consuming. The authors are a registered dietician and a registered nurse, so it's not made by someone that just threw a bunch of recipes in a book and tried to sell it. These are well thought out recipes that are healthy, age appropriate, and sure to give your baby a great start. I'm so happy with the amount of recipes that include foods not normally found as "baby foods", such a beets and artichokes. There is a clear timetable of when to introduce certain foods, which is a feature I like. Plus, they have marked all the recipes with a snowflake for foods that freeze well, which is always great when planning ahead.I love the tips sections that are included every few pages of the book, as most of them are quite helpful. Also, in the back, there is a couple pages with every recipe name written down and then you can rate it and leave comments in the space provided as to whether baby liked it, didn't like it, try it again later, sort of thing. There are storage tips and a lot of good information as to what nutrients baby really needs and why. As a nutrition major myself, this book has most of the information that I know as a student, so for the average parent, it is above and beyond.Anyone that is looking for a book that has easy to make, quick recipes and is wanting to give their baby a great start to eating, this book is definitely it. And if you're concerned about some reviewers stating that the authors use butter in some of the recipes, they do. And if you know anything about babies, you should know that they need fat in their diets to keep them healthy. There is a difference between giving your kid McDonalds french fries and using butter, which is natural, in some of their foods. The authors, as well, explain this in good detail. Overall, I am thoroughly pleased that I found this book and will never have to buy the crap at the grocery store again!!

Title: Healthy eating for those you love!
Review: I purchased my first copy of "The Best Homemade Baby Food on the Planet" for my daughter (and my grandchildren). My daughter has confirmed my belief that the book is beautifully laid out, presented in a clear and concise fashion, contains creative and healthy recipes and is full of helpful information. The variety of foods presented in such creative ways is striking. Equally impressive is the fact that most recipes can be made quickly and easily. I know my daughter loves that!I am impressed with the imaginative use of fruits and vegetables. As a result, I purchased a copy of "The Best Homemade Baby Food on the Planet" for myself! I had not used my blender for over a year. Now it is back in service. I particularly enjoy the Banana-Raspberry Dream and the Aussie Smoothie...I simply adjust the proportions for my appetite! I must also give rave reviews to the soup recipes in this book as well. Healthy eating is important to me and so are time-saving recipes. This book has it all!I have now purchased my third copy of the book...it will be a present to the mother of the next child born in my family! I have also recommended the book to my friends that are grandparents.

Title: Best Baby Food-Making Book Out There!
Review: This book is seriously amazing. It has recipes for babies just starting solids all the way up to toddlers, and to be honest, you really could make them for kids MUCH older! I only have a 7 month old currently, but when he is older, I plan on using some of their recipes for our WHOLE family and just adding more meat and such to make for a bigger, family meal. They tell you what freezes well, what doesn't, why you should wait to try certain foods, how to gt babies to eat veggies, and so much more! They have lots of yummy food combos, I've tried a lot of them myself, and some of them are as simple as mashing certain fruits up with a fork. Some, obviously call for more cooking and prep...but this book is for excellent for moms of all types and kiddos of many ages. I highly recommend it over MANY other baby-making and encourage you, if you're not sure if baby food making is for you, to get this book and try it out. You won't be sorry! 🙂

Title: Good Buy
Review: I bought three books: The Best Homemade Baby Food On The Planet, Great Expectations Best food for Your Baby & Toddler, and The Wholesome Baby Food Guide. I would definitely recommend Great Expectations over this book but I wouldn't recommend The Wholesome Baby Food Guide at all. This book is very fun though, it gives you everything you pay for, recipes. The books is aesthetically pleasing, and organized well. It gives great tips like if an item freezes well and offers directions on all methods of preparation. The only thing I don't like is that it has really silly names and it gets in the way. Also for example some of the recipes do this ( not actual recipe) : The kiss the cook sweet pear puree calls for a tablespoon of the oh so sweet potato puree, pear delight puree and cinnamon. So now I have to go back and look at what's is in those. So you kind of HAVE to make all her basic recipes to utilize all the recipes unless you just want to be able to use three. For someone who is trying to say you can be a busy working women and make your own baby food I actually think she makes it seem more daunting. As you get out of the baby foods though it gets a lot better and more useful. She also uses butter in her recipes, which some people may not like but you can just leave it out and it taste fine. Over all it's a good book, it's useful, fun and does have some great tips!

Review: I got this book while I was still pregnant, in a moment of panic which made me think that I didn't want to just give my baby food out of a jar and what do babies eat after jar food and when? I love to cook and this book is so full of great ideas and food combinations that I have since incorporated even in mine and my husbands diet. I love that it explains salts, fats and how much is needed and how much is too much for a baby. My now 14 month old daughter has a wide menu and loves food. I would classify this book as a great reference for any meal. Thanks!!

Review: A first time mom, I was determined and enthusiastic to teach my daugther about real healthy food. So I bought tons of books. This is the only book from which I cooked every single recipe. Over and over again. Apart from easy, healthy and creative recipes, the book is a valuable guide to the basic healthy nutrition principles.Added perk - The design Is lovely, my daughter spends hours looking at photos and identifying ingredients.Cannot wait to open the next two books of Laura!

Review: I found the nutrition information interesting, but was hoping for for more recipes that didn't consist of just puree or mash in a bowl, as most people could come up with a lot of these meals themselves at home without the need for this book. I was looking for ideas for older babies.
