Title: Great for learning how to read!
Review: Since English is my second language, this learning resource was very helpful. My 5 year old enjoys it. Even my 2 year old joins in. The songs are great and the teacher manual is easy to follow. I wish this existed for other languages too!

Title: Teacher highly recommends
Review: I am a special education teacher and this program was recommended to me by an ELAR teacher who used it with her own kids. I got this to use with my 6 almost 7 year old going into first grade that struggled in kindergarten. He has made outstanding progress over the last four weeks. He already knew his letter sounds but we follow the program as intended. Reviewing the sounds has helped and learning to slowly blend the sounds has improved his confidence. This program takes longer than 4 weeks to complete but it is worth while. I will use it with my four year old once my son completes it.

Title: My baby can read!
Review: I highly recommend this reading program! It is so straightforward and easy to use. I had no idea as to where to start to getting my 4-yr old from doing sight words to actually reading. This program was absolutely phenomenal! We were able to skip many of the beginning lessons since he already knew word sounds. But it is perfect for true beginners. There are some negatives, such as there not being a workable website or playlist for the songs. But because I mulled over and researched the program for months before actually purchasing it, I knew the songs were available on YouTube. Although slightly inconvenient, I still believe the program to be super effective. My son was excited about learning to read and this has only increased his excitement as he has actually learned! He reads everything now and my husband and I can no longer spell things without him understanding lol!

Title: My Son Can Read Now
Review: My son was 5.5 years old when we bought this. He was diagnosed with level 2 autism at are 2.5 and did not speak at all until he was 4 years old. He would probably be considered level 1 now/ high functioning. He still wasn’t reading like his peers and was getting frustrated. We bought this program and he now can read. We did it every days for about 20-40 minutes per day. It took him about 6-7 weeks to read. He’s only through the first 15 books, but I’m just proud he CAN read.

Title: It really works, if you put in the time
Review: This program is excellent to teach your child to read. I purchased it for my 4 year old and he will be entering PreK already a reader. I also used it to review with my 6 yr old on some areas where she was having difficulties. It even helped my 16 year old Foreign Exchange student grasp some concepts as she would listen to me work with the kids. As with anything, you need to put in the time or else it won't work. It's an easy to follow program and the "Training" section of their website of extremely helpful, so I would highly recommend taking the time to review that before introducing the program. I am not an educator by trade and I found it easy to follow. My 4 yr old son loves the books and he says so. The only one he had trouble connecting with is one with all girls in tutus 🙂 Otherwise, I would say the books are gender neutral and with some diversity (which is important to us). I also like how the stories build on the one before. I would say my 4 yr old has achieved a level of reading comprehension that I could have only dreamed of with my 6 yr old. The songs are excellent, very catchy, both of my children love the songs and request I play them repeatedly. My absolute favorite this about this program is that the books only contain words made up of sounds you have reviewed up to that point (with the exception of a few, very few, inevitable sight words).I didn't give it 5 stars because: 1. The first manual I received was littered with errors. I wrote to the company and eventhough I ordered through Amazon, they very willingly sent me a replacement manual, HOWEVER, the replacement, although it had less errors than the first, it still has several. I contacted them again and they said they are in the process of printing new ones. 2. The manual itself does not offer specific instructions on when to introduce most books. There are a few instances where it does indicate, but for the most part, you need to figure it out yourself. It is not the most difficult thing to do, but for a paid program, I would expect the company to walk you through it by way of the manual. 3. The program comes with a CD, I would have preferred an itunes download. You can download through their website, but I have not successfully been able to download all of the songs.Overall, I'm satisfied with the program and am glad we tried it out. Being able to read and comprehend is invaluable. My son will not struggle in school as my daughter has simply because of this.

Title: New 2022 online interactive companion
Review: There is a 2022 new online interactive companion! For anyone reading the older comments wondering why their original website and app and songs are missing, I’m here to tell you that they upgraded to a new online interactive companion. I bought this item May 2022 and it came with a card (see photo) with their updated website. (4weekstoreadonline.com/amazon) I wish I could let all the other customers and parents complaining about the missing app know that there is a new website, but hope this review will help future parents. My four-year-old is loving the set. It’s so much fun for her and I love the bonding time we have together. I’ll update in four weeks, but she is flying through the lessons. I really feel confident she’ll be learning to read soon. There is a $99 option to purchase all 58 lesson videos and 53 book videos on the website, but all the songs are on the website for free. I did purchase the $99 option, but the program could easily be done without it. The videos are basically an actor going through the lesson plan, which already comes in printed form in the box set. They give you a few free videos until they start to charge you. You can see from the sample free videos how the program can easily be done without them, but it is a nice feature if you do have them. I personally feel like the investment is worth it, but again not required for the set to work. When I read the other comments and saw their weird original website with only one link, I was on the fence buying this item, but I really wanted the books. So happy I purchased the set to find out the company just did a little upgrade.
