When space is at a premium, the Lasko 2535 52-Inch Space-Saving Pedestal Tower Fan provides the cooling power and portability of a pedestal fan in a slim, adjustable-height design. With 3 quiet speeds, widespread oscillation, and directional louvers, this powerful pedestal fan keeps the air flowing in any room of the house. The 2535 is fully adjustable from 41-52”, which means it is 12” taller than standard tower fans.
Convenience is key with this Lasko pedestal tower fan. You can take a hands-off approach to controlling the air flow in your room when you program the automatic timer, which shuts the fan off after the selected time, up to 7.5 hours. Or, use the one-touch Sleep Mode to automatically set the timer to run for 6 hours. Also, the convenient, multi-function remote control allows you adjust the fan speed, timer, oscillation, and sleep mode from a distance, while the fan's LED display lets you know which settings are selected.
You’ll have peace of mind every time you turn on the Lasko 2535 fan. It features a trusted, fused safety plug - the Blue Plug - as an added safety feature. That means it’s designed to stop the electric current to the fan if the plug’s fuse identifies a potentially hazardous electrical fault.
Ready to personalize your room’s air circulation? Simply assemble the base, pedestal, and attach the fan, and you're ready to enjoy a cooling breeze.

Title: Sleek, quiet, powerful
Review: This is my my favorite fan I’ve ever had. I use it in my bedroom and it works great. Airflow is excellent and powerful on all 3 speeds. The range of motion while oscillating is very good and is the perfect speed. The adjustable height was important to me so i could sleep comfortably. I love the functionality of the remote and now I don’t think I could ever have another fan without one. Also a big fan of the minimal space this fan requires!

Title: The perfect fan
Review: I sleep with a fan on me year round and definitely prefer the tower fan. I had one for years and then it broke 5 months ago. I searched thru the whole inventory on Amazon to find the right one. On some the height was not correct or reviews were poor. Then I saw this LASKO fan and was thrilled by the adjustable height and decided to give it a shot. It was a huge success but little did I know it would prove to be one of the best purchases I've ever made. I have not a single negative comment to make about this fan. It far surpassed the quality of my previous fan while adding new much needed benefits.I don't always like having air conditioning on in the warmer weather and due to the adjustable height of the fan I can raise it and have it either oscillate to spread air around the entire room or keep it steady and direct on me when really warm. This unit pushes an incredible amount of air. I have yet to use the 3rd level and even on warm nights often need a blanket when sleeping. The fan actually makes me cold sometimes. The air pressure helps tremendously when the weather is warm. You can adjust the blades to have the air come out in the direction you want. And the adjustable base is very sturdy. I raise and lower it constantly and with a tight squeeze it stays firmly in place. The remote is great and easy to use. This whole unit could be put together in 5 minutes and what I got was miraculous. I wanted a fan at the correct height to cool me when sleeping and ended up with a fan that also serves as a total apartment cooler in the warm weather. It goes to 52" inches tall and works magic. I use it at 43" for sleep and then whatever level I want throughout the day. If you are in search of that fan that puts out great air and really helps in warm weather this is the one for you. It will serve all your needs. And really believe all the comments on the great air pressure. Each level from 1 to 3 is noticably stronger but in no way noisier. I am thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Title: Good Fan, Just A Little Bit "Weird"
Review: I purchased this fan in June, 2011.Traditional blade-type fans are "big-headed," making it difficult to place at a room's corner and occupying relatively large space. Therefore, I bought this fan for my small bedroom. Since my household stays away from air conditioner as much as possible even in a 95°F-degree afternoon, fans are not optional, but required.Lasko pedestal fan fits nicely at the corner of my room. Although the cylindrical-fan design is certainly less powerful than traditional blades, it generates softer yet strong enough air flow for sleeping time as well as awake time. The fan has three major portions: the base, the adjustable-height standing rods, and the fan with oscillator. A few steps of easy, quick assemble are required out of the box. The wind exhaust grid is divided into top and bottom sections. The top section can be adjusted to direct airflow up-or down-ward, while the bottom section is fixed to blow air straight forward. The overall built quality is somewhat average (I'll get into more details about this later). Top half of the adjustable standing rods doesn't lock tightly with the bottom half, so it always stands slightly tilted. It comes with a remote that I rarely use. Both the remote and the fan have five control buttons: Power, Oscillating, Timer, Speed, and Sleep. There are three speed settings from 1 to 3, with 1 the weakest. Timer can be set from 1/2 hour up to 7.5 hours, with red LEDs indicating timer setting on the fan ONLY. Sleep button sets timer to 6 hours and speed to 1.Now More detailsOne of the reasons I like fans is their hypnotizing white noise, which, though making me dream a lot, coaxes me into sleep efficiently. In the first few months of usage, Lasko was no exception, but it started to generate noises other than white noise after that. To most people, it is not going to be a problem. However, for me, I am easily bothered by certain types of noises when falling into sleep. Squeaking noise from the fan's oscillator when changing rotating directions and unbalanced spinning noise from the cylinder fans, due to slightly tilted standing pose, happen to be this types of noise. The unbalanced spinning noise isn't very loud, so I could somewhat bear it by putting the fan a bit further away, but the squeaking noise is so conspicuous during quiet night time that I can't turn oscillating mode on when sleeping.ConclusionIt's a good fan. It fits nicely in tight areas. It'd be a great fan if it doesn't start to make non-white noise during a short time span of use.

Title: Blows air at the level of my bed.
Review: I purchased these to replace some floor level Lasko fans (these lasted me for years and ran every day for 6-8 hours a day.) The raised height hits my bed level and I do not waste the air hitting the side of the bed. They are quiet and the noise they do make I got used to in a few nights.

Title: A bit flimsy/wobbly
Review: I basically have 3 complaints:1. Just got this and put it together. This should have been very simple but became difficult because someone at the factory put the inserted adjustable pipe in upside down and it had a flange on top that would not go into the fan. I finally figured out that I had to take it back apart and put that pipe into the other end and then it would work.2. After it’s all put together etc we find that it is quite wobbly and unless we “touch” and “adjust” it just right we end up with an annoying vibration sound.3. When putting this together and trying to adjust (after figuring out the pipe issue) my husband was adjusting and suddenly the whole fan portion decided to DROP down the pipe which pinched his hand VERY badly between his thumb and forefinger. It actually broke the skin and hurt like crazy! On the up side the fan looks very nice and is a height that serves our purpose very well.
