Title: Above my performance expectations
Review: I have been trying a couple of flat indoor antenna with little success with all of my local channels. Many had medium to low signal levels. I installed this internal antenna at the same locations and the amount of channels being detected and also the stations that were of low to medium quality are all much higher. I do not have any hills or other obstructions but my location is quite a distance to the antenna of around 40 miles. So far, very impressed with the performance of this antenna. It is a larger size antenna compared to the flat antenna.

Title: This thing is definitely directional. Works pretty well, but not awesome.
Review: I wanted a good antenna for both HDTV as well as FM radio. This kit seemed to do the trick. Note that I believe the "J" at the end of some models (e.g. AT-800SBSJ) means it came with a J-pole as yet another mounting option because mine did. It included the amp with a built-in splitter which was perfect as I run both an FM tuner and Sling AirTV as endpoints. We live in a valley with mountains all around. There are two broadcast antennas for TV/FM on mountain peaks with one about 12 miles NNW and the other 1.5 miles SW, so were somewhat in the middle of them. I thought this was an omni-directional antenna, but the instructions even say to point it at the broadcast source. Since we have two with about 160 degrees in between, I tried pointing at one or the other. Neither gave me all the network channels. Only when I carefully pointed it approx right in between the two (i.e. to the East) I was able to get the best reception. Weird. It's mounted on a 20ft high location above our roof, but there are at least one or two trees in between line-of-sight to both antennas. Being so close to the broadcast antennas, I expected better reception. It's pretty good with the amp turned all the way up. It definitely took some rotation of the antenna to find the sweet spot.

Title: Great antenna for HDTV broadcasts
Review: Installed this antenna outside the house where I used to have a DIRECTV dish. Pointed it south towards Sacramento stations. Ran scan on the TV and I can pick up 80 channels with crystal clear high-resolution images. Very easy to install. I hooked the second output up to my receiver for FM reception. I liked the product so much that I bought a second antenna for my vacation home.

Title: do not recommend
Review: In my opinion, this product does not live up to it's hype. While it does pick up some local stations, there is one, only 7 miles away, which it does not. I have not yet looked into the FM radio reception, one of it's main features, which prompted me to purchase.

Title: best reception yet!
Review: I have used several different antennas for my TV - I have never owned cable. Most antennas (my latest was a thin "leaf" design with a booster attached) were OK but received few channels and were subject to loss of signal, especially since I live near a small airport. Planes, helicopters, and even the wind would often interrupt the signal. I tried the Antop model using the table mount near a small window that faces the broadcast towers near me. All towers are located within 18 miles of my house. The table location received 21 channels, not all clearly; the leaf antenna had gotten a lot more. So I moved the antenna to a glass door facing the towers; that got me 36 channels. Then I tried the antenna on top of a 6-foot ladder near the door; that received 28 channels. I decided to move the antenna up onto a storage area in my garage, about 10 feet off the floor, aimed at the towers and through the side of the garage. That got 55 channels! Not all those channels are interesting, but I can't blame the antenna for that... Reception has been rock-solid, with no interference from planes or wind so far. Very pleased with this purchase and will recommend it to others. One problem, though: I ran coax cable from the back of my Bose Wave IV radio, through the garage, and back through the wall to connect to the booster. But the supplied connection to my radio does not work. The ANTOP AT-719 looks like it should fit, but the metal base keeps the contact from meshing with the radio. Is there another connection like the AT-719 that has a shorter metal jacket? Can I cut the jacket down about 1/4" and try that? Other than this problem, I am very pleased with the Antop AT-800SBS.

Title: Works great, super easy
Review: Super easy to setup, less than 5 minutes. Works great, found 50 channels without increasing the booster past the lowest setting. This is a buy.

Title: Defective Coaxial Connector in Antenna
Review: Had high hopes for this antenna, assembled all but the 40' cable, went to connect it to the antenna and where all other coaxial connections were successful, this one was not. The connector had a filed off end that wouldn't allow the cable nut to thread on. After an hour of frustration, had to give up. Liked the built in splitter, FM port and other features, but never got to test the unit. They'll need to check their inventory and assembly process.

Title: Antenna works well
Review: I ordered white cables and components but received Black. Would appreciate you send correct White cables. This new Antenna works well. With another brand indoor antenna we could receive 27 channels but because of the drop outs and distortion many were not viewable. This new indoor antenna pulls in 70 channels many of which we will not watch but the picture is clear with minimal distortion. Overall pleased with this purchase
