Title: Nice addition to my backyard
Review: I recently purchased this outdoor pizza oven for my backyard. I have tried to make pizzas for my family with this oven, and let me tell you, it certainly meets my expectations. Not only is it compact and easy to use, but it also delivers awesome pizzas with that perfect crispy crust and nice flavor that you can only get from this type of oven. It's also easy to set up and use, so I can spend less time fussing over the fire and more time enjoying delicious pizzas with my family.Another great feature is its efficiency. Despite its compact size, this oven heats up quickly and cooks pizzas evenly in just a few minutes. Additionally, it's made with durable metal that is built to last.Iâm glad to get this pizza oven for my family, and it is worth that small investment.

Title: Yep, a learning curve
Review: Easy set up; good booklets; seems to be well made. And yes, there's a learning curve, so I have a way to go to get the perfect 'za! Looking forward to eventually producing a quintessential flammkuchen.

Title: You will never cook pizza any other way
Review: I must admit that my husband was the one that bought this. I thought it was unnecessary because we usually cook pizza in our regular oven. Much to my surprise, I fell in love with it and I will never go back to oven cooked pizza again. This gives it a slightly smokey flavor and a crispy crust just like the pizzarea ones. The concept is basically the same as a brick oven grill, but smaller. You simply fill the back compartment with wood pellets and when it comes up to the proper temperature, you add the pizza. Because of the high temperature, the actual cook time is very quick. We were able to cook 4 pizzas one right after another for everyone and they all turned out great. You can disassemble it for easy storage, but we use it so often that I just leave it like it is. It's small enough to take camping or to a tailgate party. You can also change up the variety of wood pellets for a different flavor.

Title: Works great, takes a long time to heat up.
Review: It could very well be my fire making skills, but I have a hard time getting this going. The pellets and some of the small sticks you can purchase seem to work the best to keep the fire going longest, but it takes me quite awhile to get it started.I do love the manual turner on the bottom. All in all, I would purchase this brand again.

Title: Updated Review!
Review: Gave this to my spouse for her birthday and when we opened it up to assemble the oven, there were crumbs in it and black soot on the inside! Too late for me to return it, but buyer beware!UPDATE: The company reached out and offered a full refund, along with a replacement handle, since ours came without one! So glad there are companies that still do the right thing!

Title: User learning curve?
Review: We are very excited to have this pizza oven but we are struggling in the learning curve. We are getting inconsistent results. We seem to have a soot issue, a problem maybe with airflow, and a heat control issue. We have wiped it clean between uses. We are using hardwood pellets and don't seem to have trouble keeping the fire going but the smoke is black and we struggle with maintaining the heat we need without it getting too extreme or going too low. We are also struggling with getting pizzas that aren't black on the top edges but undercooked in the middle on the bottom. I am confident this is a user issue, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the oven, but we would really like to know if there are any resources to look at to learn how how to use this pizza oven. We want stress free pizza nights with friends and family and need guidance to ensure we can produce expected results.

Title: It's no Ooni!
Review: The adpiza can make good pizzas, but it takes a lot of work and delivered inconsistent results. You might be wondering how it compares to the Ooni Fyra. Well I can tell you since Iâve purchased both!To begin, I purchased my aidpiza (square stone version) on sale for $179. Thatâs a good price.Aidpiza pros:- Looks good- Good insulation- Easy to assemble and set up- Built in thermometer- Can get sufficiently hot (800 F) in about 20 minutes- Cheaper than Ooni FyraAidpiza cons:- Difficult to maintain heat- Poor ventilation/air flow for the wood pellet basket- Fire easily dies out- When hot, the hopper (on mine) expands and gets stuck- When hot, the pellet basket (on mine) warps and wonât fully close, leaving a small gap- The paint above the pellet basket (on mine) burned and flaked off after first use- Inconsistent results- Stressful to use- Hard to clean out the ash and pellet debrisThe biggest problem with the aidpiza is the poor ventilation to the pellet basket, which consists of several small slits UNDER the basket. This makes air flow to the pellets not optimal. Too many pellets, and the fire dies out due to lack of air. Too few pellets, and they burn out too quickly. It seems the solution is to add a little bit of pellets every few minutes. But this is difficult to do WHILE assembling pizzas and cooking them. Maintaining the fire can become quite stressful. Every time you remove the front door the temperature drops, and the pizza stone temperature drops significantly after each pizza made. You CAN make good pizzas on the aidpiza, but it takes a lot of work, and my results were frustratingly inconsistent. So, I bit the bullet and purchased an Ooni Fyra. WOW what a difference! Everything with the Ooni was an easier and better experience. The pellet basket is easy to load and start a fire. The self-feeding hopper is a GAME CHANGER! Do it right (follow the instructions), and maintaining a consistently hot oven is simple and stress free. A full hopper will last about 15 minutes of consistent temperature. So you can make pizzas and cook them, while ENJOYING the process. No stress! Thatâs worth the extra money for me.Ooni Fyra pros:- Excellent construction- Excellent insulation- Gravity-fed hopper is amazing- Easy to reach and maintain ripping hot temperatures (950 F in 15 min)- Excellent pizzas every timeOoni Fyra cons:- Slightly higher cost- No built-in thermometer - you must purchase a digital thermometer to read the temperature of the stone (but I would recommend doing that anyway)Overallâitâs no comparison! Ooni Fyra is the clear winner in every way. Now, if saving a little money is more important, you can still make good pizzas with the aidpiza. It just takes extra work, has a steeper learning curve, and might have inconsistent results. Thanks for reading! I hope this review helps.
