Title: works well in all modes.
Review: Don't be alarmed by the monstrous box. Its simply well packed. I bought the Ninja Air Fry Countertop Oven because I have fallen in love with my basket air fryer but my husband and I cannot tolerate the strong chemical smell and possible health risks associated with outgassing compounds. Must admit I was reluctant to give up the counter top space but the Ninja is less obtrusive than many and came highly rated. It it less deep so you do have useable counter space in front for prep. Of course you can also tip the unit up and out of the way. It is true it will be more of a hassle to keep clean, but no more than the toaster oven it replaces. It has great capacity and air fries quickly and well, with a very short pre heat. The only other setting we fuss over is toast and it performs well in that mode. The other modes worked well on quick trial. Fast, efficient, short pre heat. The instructions are a bit fiddly , but in reality I will probably leave it on one setting for toast , air fry etc. and not fuss too much with presets for the time/temp, unless I am in a time dependant mode like baking. You can certainly change time and temp in the middle of a session with no hassle. Will let folks know how it hold up over time.

Title: WOW!
Review: Our 15 yr old toaster oven(Cuisinart Convection oven) oven decided to finally die, so I was looking for something new, but in a similar form factor, while keeping the convection oven part. That ended up presenting a problem. I could find several toaster ovens WITHOUT the convention part. that were the same size, but almost every toaster oven with the convection feature was quite large and a counter hog. I looked at another Cuisinart, a Breville and several others, but they were big, compared to what we had.Enter this oven. While it is wider and a little deeper, is is lower in height and better yet... IT FOLDS UP, so we have more space, when not in use, than we had with our old toaster oven. Yes, it is not as tall as other ovens, which means no rotisserie chickens but we never really used our toaster oven for that type thing anyway. On the functionality, it has a convention offering called air broil(which is different from air frying) and also not only does that but air frying, air roasting, toasting(separate bagel setting too), baking, dehydrating and even warming. Way more than our old toaster oven could do.The toasting and bagels setting result in perfect toast/bagels and the air broiling is quicker and better than our old convection oven. We have baked several thing in the oven and it resulted in great results so far. We are also excited to try the dehydrating function as well, but not excited as to the length of time it will take(something like 6-8 HOURS, depending on what you are dehydrating). To clean it, simply remove the crumb tray, flip up and open the bottom panel. This gives you easy access to the burners for easy cleaning. One of the main complaints(besides the obvious, it's not very tall) is the power plug comes straight out from the outlet, so you can't put the oven close to the wall, if your outlet is directly behind the oven, it will still out from the wall, a good 6 inches. What I did was buy a 1 ft flat 3 prong extension cord, which was only a half inch thick. This allowed me to put the plug right behind the oven and keep it close to the wall(make sure you buy one rated for the power the toaster oven needed).ProsSpace saving FILIP UP design. When done(and after it cools down), just flip it up out of the way. Many different functions(as seen above).Makes just about perfect toast and bagelsBaking and air broiling work fantasticVERY easy to cleanConsNot very tall, so you may have issues with taller things you want to cookThe power cord plug is straight out from the socket, so you can't put the plug directly behind the unit, without it sticking out far from the wall. As mentioned, I had to buy a flat plug to be able to keep the plug directly behind the unit.Stainless steel is nice looking... until it gets loaded with finger prints. It will require a lot of cleaning, use of stainless steel cleaner to keep it looking good. All in all, this is a GREAT and innovative buy and well worth the price(unless you want to roast a chicken r tall items in it).

Title: I'm impressed and recommend unless you need more height
Review: First, it is probably important to know that I am transitioning from an old Samsung Convection Toaster Oven to this and I have only been using this for two weeks.I looked at other options but they seemed huge (in size). One of the complaints I have read about the Ninja SP101 is that it is smaller. It is. It is good sized in depth and width but lacks (for some) in height. For me, that works but even when I made a good sized amount of nachos I had to press it down a bit so it didn't get too near the heating element. I am single and cook for 1-2 people and this is ideal. It takes up a bit larger footprint than my ancient Samsung but is lower profile. I don't mind the lower profile (I prefer it) and unless you are wanting to cook multiple items or any foods that are higher vertical then this is fine. It also looks good sitting on my counter.PROS:I like the controls and after a short learning curve is pretty simple to use. This pre-heats up quickly and cooks fast. The first item I cooked was frozen fries and used the Air Fryer. The fries were crisp and tasty. I was very happy with this.I toasted bread and bagels and it seemed to toast fairly uniformly taking a bit longer that I thought it would considering how powerful this oven is. I'm good with this.I used Air Broil to make nachos and it was perfect and quick!I used Bake to make some cookies and used parchment paper and it worked well.I ordered the casserole dish, thinking the higher sides would help prevent messes. Last night I cooked a wok dinner with tofu cubes, peppers, onions, noodles (boiled first), carrots, broccoli, celery and cashews with a teriyaki marinade. OMG, this was so good and no messes and the new casserole dish is non stick and although lighter and most likely cheaper (in quality), I prefer using this to the pan that came with the oven. Dinner was delicious!I have not used Dehydrate and Keep Warm functions yet.The light is a nice feature.CONS:During Air Fry the left front corner seems to cook hotter and burnt the edges of my french fries in this corner. The fries (in just this corner) were still edible just blackened.I have read that some customers thought the oven was difficult to clean. The sheet pan included with the oven is heavier than the casserole dish I later purchased but it seems more difficult to clean, as I had to make a few attempts to remove cheese. The surface is not smooth and has small bumps on it that concern me, but really not with reason as of yet. My main focus is to keep the oven clean and prevent splattering and boil overs as the heating elements are exposed and I feel are vulnerable. I will be using parchment paper and using the casserole dish more than the sheet pan. I have not made pizza yet but my concern here is that if I set the pizza on the rack there is nothing below it to catch any potential mess and can fall on the heating elements. There is the crumb tray but that is below the heating element. My initial thought was to place the cooking sheet under the wire rack but the sheet (and casserole dish) are designed to sit on top of the rack and don't use the grooves on the sides to support itself. I tested out putting the crumb tray directly under the wire rack and it does fit so this would protect the heating element but if I'm going to do this, I probably should just use the cooking sheet pan instead. I have often considered putting a silicone baking sheet under the wire rack to catch any drippings or mess but, again, does this defeat the open cooking of using the wire rack? I'd prefer to cook a pizza in a pan rather than drip on the heating element as my biggest concern (from other reviews) was that once it drips on the element it is nearly impossible to clean. Right now I am operating under the delusion of keeping the SP101 new but this is not practical (for any oven). It would be nice if the tray was spring loaded and would come out when the door was opened. You must manually pull out the tray or wire rack to remove from oven so you really need to have oven mitts at the ready to even add ingredients. My Air Fry Basket has a minor defect in the middle of it but is minor.Other:I don't use the flip feature as I'm OK with its footprint and as I said earlier, it looks good sitting on the counter. But the flip feature does work well and if you are interested in this feature it seems worthwhile.I have been pulling the oven out when I use it to keep the cord away from the oven and giving it more space to ventilate. I have a plastic can opener mounted above where I use the oven. Even after a 450 degree cooking the can opener is warm to the touch but does not get too hot. The sides of the oven don't get overly hot (but the glass does). This seems well built and I probably don't need to pull it out but will continue to do so.I don't think I will ever have a reason to use my regular oven again. This oven is big enough (for my cooking needs) and this oven pre-heats so much faster than my big oven, cooks more evenly and is more convenient. I am going to give my big oven a good cleaning and know it will stay clean as I probably won't use it again. This oven is a good air fryer and I am impressed with the results, but I have never had an air fryer before. All the other functions seem really good. The wire rack and sheet pan are sturdy but I wish the sheet pan could support itself using the rails like how the air fry basket does. The air fry basket is flexible but still sturdy and mine had a minor defect. The crumb try is fine. I really like the added casserole tray. I would highly recommend this product unless you need or want the extra height of the Cuisinart TOA60. The Cuisinart, after reading reviews, was my first pick but after looking at the overall footprint, I decided against it. I am happy with the size and performance of the Ninja SP101.I will update this only if I have some issue with the oven.

Title: Versatile
Review: This product works great, and does more than air fry, it bakes, roasts and then stacks up to take up minimal counter space. My only issues are that it is not an easy clean even tho the trays slide out. I have a smaller air fryer and while it does not have all the features, for just air frying it is very easy to clean.

Title: Perfect addition to our kitchen!
Review: We have wanted an air fryer and have done a lot of research. This product is magic! It cooks perfectly and is easy to use. The design is beautiful and saves us so much counter space. Frozen foods taste better than you can get at a restaurant, and it is easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Review: Love this thing - i've waited a few months to review to get some use first. This replaced our old toaster oven like a champ - we use it almost every day - one of the best features is that it heats up in like a minute - so using it in the place of an oven is awesome - especially for pizza ! Literally you can have your pizza on your plate in the time it normally takes to heat up your oven. About 10-15mins for frozen pizza - depending on the pizza thickeness. I havent tried a fresh home made - but i would guess maybe 7 mins or so... Crazy fast. It looks great too - and i flip it up all the time - counter space is a premium for me. The non-stick coating on the tray seems to work as advertised "so far" but i put down some parchment to be sure anyways. The air fry feature seems to work great as well ! The Basket is GIGANTIC ! Holds sooooo much. its a Steel mesh basket though - so we shall see how it holds up.. i use it even without the basket - and it works so well just on the tray. My ONLY pet-peeve is that the buttons themselves are not back lit at all - my vision sorta sucks so even in the light - its hard to read the little print on the buttons. When you push a button - the display turns on of course - everything is well lit - except the the temp and function buttons. This MAY be fixed on the newer models - which is prob why this one was on sale for a great price.. (about 30% off). Once i get used to the functions - i'll be fine.
