Title: Ventilation strip cracked within 3 months. 1 year later, door latch failed. No warranty or support.
Review: Update: This seller is unreliable. There is no warranty. Stay away from this microwave. they will not even help find a part number unless you uninstall it and take photos from the rear of the microwave even though you provided them with the serial number, photos of the damage, and a photo of the box with the same serial number.If I uninstall it I am going to resell for whatever I can get and buy from ANY other seller. Took over an hour to get their customer support to accept the photos, description of what was wrong and asking for a replacement part OR part number. Response was we would have to uninstall the microwave and send new photos and a new request to them. It is spec'd at only 1000 W and is a lot less power than our last microwave, taking over a minute to boil a cup of water. We do not believe it actually operates at 1000 W.The plastic ventilation strip cracked, even though it was secured as needed during the install. It is now prevents the door from opening smoothly and make s a loud cracking sound every time you do open it. We have loosened up the frame screws and tried to move it back over, but it looks like it is a remove and replace with a shorter part type scenario. We have contacted RCA and are waiting on their promised 48 hour response, which is why I am writing this review. We just wanted a new ventilation strip, that we will probably have to modify before reinstalling. We would just send the microwave back if it were not such an ordeal to uninstall, because I sort of doubt it is really operating at 1000 watts.It works and we can just remove the fan's ventilation diverter and come up with a screen to replace it, but I would NOT recommend this product at this time. Buy one that does not require a possible uninstall and reinstall after only 2 months. I am certain the plastic ventilation piece was a bit too long to start with as it was almost flush with the hinge. When you open and close the door, which is a bit heavier than our last microwave, the hinge can easily catch the flimsy plastic vent and it will crack. Once it cracks, the lower portion moves into the way of the hinge, so you will either have to crack it all the way off or loosen the frame screws and remove the piece, modify and reinstall. The filters do not work and you have to clean grease off the top of the microwave constantly.After the sellers poor response and considering the disappointing performance of this microwave I just want to warn everyone. This is not a good buy. Stay away from this seller. Seller got back to me to tell me I should return it to Amazon 6 months after I asked for the part that was missing. Seller took months to respond.UPdate: One year later. Husband made a clamp and repaired the previous mentioned hinge problem. So last night the door latch spring falls out of the door and we cannot find it so far. Have to pull the stove and see if it went behind there, but it is in a tight spot. I still think you should NOT buy this microwave, as when the spring pops out it makes it impossible to use the microwave at all. Without that spring to latch the door the activation switch will not trigger, for safety reasons, so you can no longer use the microwave.And so far I cannot find an extended warranty from anywhere. Hope others had better luck than we have with this unit.

Title: Product broke after 3 months
Review: The microwave broke after 3 months. Completely stopped working. I called the support line because it’s still in warranty and asked to setup a repair. I was sent an email that required me to log into a portal to submit pictures and videos of the problem. I exchanged over a dozen emails back and fourth asking for repair and they kept asking for more information. I provided them exactly what they requested and they have ghosted me for almost 2 months. I call to follow up and they will not give me a reply with ANY resolution whatsoever. I spent $331 on this item only to have it work for 3 months and I’m getting no support. When purchasing a product you want to take into consideration how problems will be resolved given the chance they occur. The support doesn’t exist so you are gambling with your money if you buy this product. Microwave looks nice but if it doesn’t work then it’s useless.**update. It has been 5 months and I still don’t have a replacement. After tons of emails and going through all the requests they’ve asked of me including dismantling the product I STILL don’t have a resolution. This company shouldn’t be allowed to say they have a warranty on a product and not honor it. It should be illegal and they should be banned from doing business period. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Title: Not worth it
Review: First it came dinged up in 3 places, but they were small so figured it was still good. Second it was missing one of bolts that was needed to secure the unit in place above the stove, but it was a tight fit so it seems to be pretty secure. Been using it a week now and it keeps turning itself off and you have to wait 3 to 5 minutes for it to turn itself back on, we learned this after turning off and on the breakers to try and get it working. And of course the box it came in is gone so can’t return it which sucks because it most definitely isn’t worth the money, save your money and buy a less expensive microwave

Title: Never worked
Review: Bought this through Amazon using my Wells Fargo points in May 2022.. I’m a widow. Had to wait til my son could install it. He did on June 25, 2022. I notified Wells Fargo that it never worked. Seems I waited 31 days to install it. Nobody helped me, I didn’t get even a replacement, if you want an expensive clock over your stove this non working RCA is the way to go.
