Title: This is the best bang-for-the-buck brand!
Review: I bought this huge frying pan for a few dishes (and the number keeps growing). I call it "small fry". I picked this from the over-whelming selection of available non-stick pans based on years of using a 10" Tramontina skillet. My wife and I both cook frequently. Meaning most of our meals are prepared at home. A non-stick skillet is a core tool in that process. And we've tried many, perhaps a dozen, non-stick skillets in the past ten years. From one that was nearly ten-times as expensive, to the cheap "miracle" pans you see advertised.Tramontina is the sole survivor.Nevermind what the manufacturer says, always hand-wash your non-stick skillets, and use a non-abrasive cleaner (sponge + dawn) to do so. Never use metallic utensils with them, even if they say they're good for it.Doing all that, a Tramontina pan will last a good, long, while. This pan seems to be no exception. It's heavy-ish construction assures that heat is fairly evenly applied and it cooks well. The silicone(?) rubber grip is comfortable and easily removed for cleaning.I have not found a better non-stick pan.

Title: Beautiful nonstick skillet - Possibly the best!
Review: I've owned quite a lot of nonstick skillets in my lifetime. Some have been rather expensive. I think this is the best one I've ever owned. This is a professional quality skillet. It's made from high quality materials and it's assembled well. The non stick surface is as good as any I've had. I'm sure it won't last forever, but none of them do. The red handle looks good and is very functional. This is the second one that I've bought and I think I'll keep buying them in different sizes.

Title: Stands Up to Abuse
Review: I have been using this pan 4-5 times a week to make scrambled eggs and omelets for over a year now, and had to come back and share my experience. I have not been careful at all (using it on high heat, running it through the dishwasher instead of hand-washing), and the pan is still going like a champ. Still non-stick, hasn't warped. The only quibble I have is that eggs stick to the rivets on the inside of the pan. However, they do come completely clean in the dishwasher, so it's more of an aesthetic gripe than anything.I also have the 10-inch and 12-inch Tramontina pans and, while I don't use them as often, my experience is the same for them. Good product!

Title: Good pan, inadequate packaging
Review: This is my second Tramontina nonstick skillet, bought to replace a 10-inch model after the nonstick surface wore out and food started to stick after 3-4 years of regular cooking. My old Tramontina pan had superior non-stick properties and better longevity compared to any other pans I've tried, even more expensive pans. Even when it started wearing out, the coating didn't flake off or chip like other brands, just became more rough. My only complaints about my previous 10-inch pan are that the handle is heavy enough to sometimes unbalance the pan when empty, the rivets are large and food often sticks to them, and the silicone grip is too loose and can slip off during handling. This new 8-inch model seems to have improved these flaws: the grip fits snugly and the handle seems better proportioned for the weight of the pan.It arrived packaged with no box in only a thin plastic tray protecting the underside from scratches and a plain plastic bag (does not appear to be retail packaging), which was torn open when I received it. It looks like it scraped against other items during storage or transit. The rim of the pan is scuffed and slightly dented in a few places, but not enough to affect performance. The cooking surface seems undamaged and the pan is not warped. Since the pan is aluminum with a thin plastic (PTFE) nonstick coating, this packaging doesn't seem good enough to protect it from a fall or hard impact during shipping. No instructions were included in the packaging, but a quick search of the manufacturer's website shows the pan is meant to be cleaned and lightly seasoned with cooking oil before use, and to use only low to medium heat while cooking.

Title: great pan
Review: I have tried all of the latest "gimmick" stone, granite etc. pans and after the first month or two were not at all happy with any of them. I was looking for a good, quality frying pan but was not going to pay those crazy high prices. I saw the reviews where people said the Tramontina pan was a professional grade pan and they loved it. I thought, "yeah, a professional pan for $28, right?" I was really skeptical but thought that I would give it a try. Let me tell you, this pan is heavy feeling and high quality! After a year it is still exceeding my expectations. I had purchased the 10" but decided I needed a smaller size for some applications so I just bought the 8" size. It has the same high quality feel so I am sure that it will be great also. The only problem for Tramontina is that I won't be replacing these pans for a long time, if ever. If you are looking for a quality professional pan I would consider this brand. I love them and love their price!

Title: Awesome value and great performance
Review: This saute pan is the bomb. It gets used at least daily at my house, with no sticking and great heat distribution whether we're frying an egg, making a quick stir fry, or preparing a gourmet meal.Cleans up easily and goes in the dishwasher with no warping or degradation of the finish.Ive given two as gifts and will definitely order more if and as this one finally gives out.

Title: Seriously, the best Frying, sauté pans out there.
Review: This one I actually purchased to give us a gift to a friend because I loved mine so much. I now have them in varying sizes and all of them have been the same in quality and durability. This particular pan could maybe use a handle on the outer side just because when it is full of a casserole or food, it makes it very hard to tip it up and scrape it into a serving dish. But other than that, it washes as well, has not peeled Bulged or bubbled in the middle like some pans do. It also evenly distributes heat very well. Iâve worked in kitchens often on my entire life and have owned many different kinds with this being my favorite of all time. Definitely throw out your other garbage ones, and buy one of these in each size. You wonât regret it.

Review: Tenemos también Tramontinas no "profesionales" y este modelo es muy superior al tener una base más espesa y que reparte y mantiene mejor la calor. Además el color rojo del mango me gusta mucho, y el conjunto respira calidad

Review: I usually get t-fal pans but I like this one a lot better, for approximately the same price. It is heavy and the higher edges make it easy to flip food. I couldn't do that in the t-fal pans. Easy to clean as well; food doesn't stick but I don't cook food higher than medium heat, as suggested.
