Title: Good for beginners
Review: Happy with the instructions. The book has multiple levels of difficulty, and itâs great for kids. For adults, Iâd say the lowest levels of difficulty are probably too easy, so I immediately jumped to the intermediate level.

Title: Easy instructions
Review: I ordered this book after having another origami kit that kids loved. This book is perfect in its ease of learning the instructions. The only problem is the paper designs included, were basic. They offer animals to fold but nothing in paper that really seems to match, just prints. Iâve had a kit before with animal paper prints that were beautiful, so I thought some paper would be animal designed. Maybe more paper prints can be ordered but keeping the book of folds is a must. Price could be better for the lack of paper design. I would explore a little more making sure you got what you expected. Still it will be enjoyable especially for this Grandma that loves to play with the kids hands on. My 8 year old will need a little help but older ones, 11 & 13, can show me!

Title: Some pages were printed upside down
Review: This book does contain instructions, yes. But the print job was pretty horrible. Halfway through the book, some of the pages were printed upside down, like the people at the print factory had a brain fart. It was super confusing for my child. You're basically buying this book for the origami paper.

Title: Beautiful paper, range of difficulties
Review: Paper: 5 stars, the designs and colors are beautiful and the paper weight is just right for folding without ripping to easily. Having the papers attached in the book is great since we have young kids whom we are doing origami with and there is only one object (the book) to pick up if the book/paper fall on the floor. I would like to know where I can get more paper like this without having to buy a second copy of the book.Instruction book: 3 stars. This was helpful to us starting out. The 20 projects are rated 1 to 3 in level of difficulty. The 1 star are simple and can generally be deduced from the pictures. I have been able to do some of the 3 stars but took several attempts for some. The lotus is the most beautiful and the lily is nice too. The animals take some imagination to see it as the animal described but many of them are quite easy so fun for kids. Some of them require two pieces of paper and tape to attach them. The butterfly is the most aesthetic of the animals. There is a simple and more complex boat.We actually found after doing some of the exercises in the book that it was actually more fun to use the paper to make origami with people on YouTube. There are lots of different step-by-step origami tutorials out and you can search for your interests. Thus we've been able to use the beautiful paper to make boxes and a remarkably detailed parrot from Hello Origami (tutorials are well done and remarkably well paced). Watching the video makes some of the steps in the book easier to understand. There are twenty projects in the book and 184 pages. Thus you either need to do each project on average 6 times to use the paper or you need to find other projects.

Review: Bought this for my 8 year old who overall loved this book. The book contains lots of tear out sheets and most of the origami is easy to make. Some are a little more difficult to follow and needed some adult help. Overall pleased with the purchase.
