Get ready to pop, fold and fly sturdy paper airplanes!
Origami author Andrew Dewar rediscovered his childhood love of paper airplanes in Japan working with Yasuaki Ninomiya (creator of the famous White Wings planes). His designs are incredibly easy to assemble and his book not only explains how to make paper planes, but how to tune them for better performance. For the daring paper airplane maker, he also gives tips on designing your own airplane models.
The helpful instruction book inside the kit provides clear, step-by-step instructions for each plane. All the planes are printed in full color on high-quality cardstock and precut, so you just push out the pieces, fold them and staple them. The rubber band catapult launcher that is included makes the planes soar and swoop to great heights—which draws a crowd and keeps both kids and adults entertained for hours.

Title: Great planes - but plan 15 minutes, not one, per plane
Review: Sturdy and they fly very far. Caveat: kids can't fold precisely enough to make these, and I defy any adult to make them in one minute. Plan 15 minutes per airplane.

Review: Really really cool. Except maybe a little more advanced than some reviewers led me to believe. Got these for my 8 year old nephew, who insisted on starting on the "red one" one of the more advanced designs. My brother ended up doing most of the work, but he really likes it so what the hey?! This kit reminds us of something my dad had in the 80s, a kit where you glued layers and layers of paper together to make fancy paper airplanes. We had fun with it, although not so much the nephew it was intended for.

Title: Terrible product!
Review: These are awful!! There is absolutely no "1 minute" about them. Each airplane comes in about 15 pieces and is complicated to put together. They require staples as well. Do not buy!

Title: Fun end product
Review: I'm conflicted with my review. The planes are very difficult to make...much more than one minute! But that is due mostly to the terrible directions. Ignore the directions. Keep studying the final picture and work to get there. I got this for my smarty pants 7 year old grandson and there is no way he could follow the directions. So he and I work on them together, which is more fun for me. Once made, they fly amazingly well.

Title: Too difficult
Review: The box of paper planes states that these 12 cutouts can be assembled in a minute for each one. I am an adult and was trying to put them together for my grandson and it was not easy at all. I've purchased a lot of books on planes and trains, etc. for him but this purchase was a waste of money and time. We only tried to do one plane and then put the box away in the closet.
