Title: Great for home or light office use
Review: This shredder is certainly an upgrade from what I have. The auto feeder is nice if you just have a small stack of regular sized paper you want to shred. The auto feeder doesn't accept anything other than normal page size and it's slow. It shreds one page at a time. But it does allow you to walk away and do other things. The manual feeder says it takes up to 10 sheets at once. I wouldn't recommend that. 5 or 6 at best. This machine doesn't seem to have the strongest motor and will go into overload protect quite easily. Clearing the jam is easy, just hit reverse and it will spit it out the top. The shredding is quite fine, does a really nice job there. And the bin is pretty good size which is good for not having to empty all the time but is bad in the fact that if it's full, its hard to empty into a trash bag without spilling. Overall, this is a good machine that will be good for someone who wants to use it in a home or light office environment. Im pleased with my purchase.

Title: After 2 months use....Look No More! Just wow, this is a great shredder!
Review: 2 month update...I love this shredder even more. Quiet, smooth, no jams, easy to empty container and the automatic feed is super terrific! Highly recommendedThis is the 3rd shredder I have purchased and can not believe how much I love it already! When it was delivered, I could tell from it's weight, the electric motor was well constructed...it just had the metal, not plastic feel.It works perfectly...super quiet and the auto feed is really amazing. I have used it to shred a basket full of older documents and it was smooth, quiet and effective.Besides working great, the micro cut really does allow the 5 gallon bin to collect more shredded paper than my previous shredders. This is part of their marketing and is really true.I will also say the design of the bin makes it super easy to slide it out when full and empty into a plastic bag easily. You may not believe this, but the last 3 times I have emptied the bin, every shred went into the plastic bag. Nothing on the floor to sweep or vaccum.

Title: Can really take on your shredding challenges
Review: I have a LOT of shredding to do--mostly because I've always found shredding so messy, frustrating, and noisy that I kept putting it off and putting it off, filling boxes with old bills, tax stuff, etc. With this shredder, the task is so much easier. First, it can shred 200 letter sized sheets at a time. The inner part can shred ONLY letter sized paper, but you can feed irregular sized paper, credit cards, paper with staples, etc. through the top part, up to ten sheets at a time. You do have to put oil in the shredder--the manufacturer recommends once per month, but with the amount of shredding I've accumulated, I've added oil a few times this month. It's totally easy to do. Just squeeze it from the oil bottle along the shredder teeth & run the shredder in reverse for like 3 seconds. Done. No mess. The shredder is very quiet, the pieces are tiny and can never be put back together, and the bin is large, so you don't have to keep emptying it every ten minutes. Plus, my old shredder would make a terrible mess of little bits of paper everywhere. This one works like a dream, and there is only a mess if I am careless about dumping the shreds into the trash. Worth every cent I paid for it. Omg, what was I waiting for?

Title: Best Low/Mid Cost Shredder
Review: This is, hands down, the best shredder I've ever owned. First, the auto-feed is a must. If you have stacks of 8.5x11 paper that needs shredding, this is your product. I've had Fellows for years that I used to hand feed paper into, which was great at the time but now, I need the auto-feed. I decided to get rid of my file cabinets and tons of paper, buy a high speed scanner (Epson RR-600W) and make all my files electronic. It was working out great until I realized that I have hours and hours of shedding to do. I recently tried an HP shredder with auto-feed and that was a disaster. The paper kept getting caught on a ledge where the paper feeds in and it would stop barely into a stack. So I looked for something that wouldn't get caught on anything (didn't care if it was P4 or P5 cross-cut) and I saw this one. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but instead of calling out a shredding truck or taking bags and bags of paper to a place that may or may not shred my confidential docs, I spent the money and I'm really happy that I did. I can put 200 pages in this machine and go about my business while it does all the work. I think it's about 8 - 9 minutes to shred a full stack (mainly because it is a P5 and the shreds are pretty tiny). You can't leave staples in the auto-shred because of the way the paper is pulled into the machine, which is the best thing about this shredder. I just feel the edges and rip the staple of the corner (I'm not gonna site around pulling out staples with a remover). The manual feed takes staples and odd shaped docs. This thing is fairly quiet for a shredder which makes me happy too. It's on casters so I can pull it in and out of the little cubby that I have it in. The paper bin is also has casters on the back to you can tilt and roll it over to wherever you want to empty it. Aside from my high speed scanner, this one of my favorite purchases ever. Dont waste your money on a top loader where the paper sits upright in a feeder, like a printer, just get one of these. Either size would be superior to any other shredder function in this price range.
