Pastadrive is robust and sturdy, thereby guaranteeing perfect stability during use. Using the motor allows you to avoid securing the machine to the worktop and you have both hands free during use. It's ergonomic shape that facilitates proper grip and stops hands from slipping. The bayonet fitting guarantees a quick and simplified coupling of the motor and allows you to use it with compatible Marcato products. Title: It's a Marcato ... BEST IN THE WORLD for under $1000!
Review: I was a little disappointed that the motor housing was plastic, but I've been QUITE please with is little machine. The headline says it all! I'm using this several days each week in a commercial kitchen (I'm a mastro pastaio riconosciuto -- a master pasta maker and chef, but NOT a sfoglino). OUTSTANDING PRODUCT and WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE.

Review: My last Marcato pasta drive is still working but doesn't fit the fabulous new Marcato Atlas 180 pasta machine I just bought. May the new one last like that--decades. I hear there is also a foot pedal you can attach to this drive.

Review: Did a lot of review reading on different Amazon stores selling this exact same product. Went with this one and glad I did. Used it a few times now. Soooooo much easier than using the crank. Very fast to make a batch of pasta for dinner. Love it. If you're a pasta maker, this is a must have IMHO

Title: A must for expert pasta makers
Review: It is good to have if you don't mind the loud engine while running. It also needs practice to use the power drive to make perfect pasta. I can not keep up with the speed. I know the principles in using it but my pasta ended up having irregular ends whereby I wasted some dough pieces because I have to cut the ends to make a straight line for eggroll wrappers. I tried to salvage the extra cut pieces, but they were all dried up .
