Title: Authentic, Old World Pasta Sauces!
Review: I purchased this wonderful authentic, old world recipe book as a gift for my grand- daughter. (I already have a copy). She loves pasta and she loves to cook, so I know she will enjoy experimenting with these delicious pasta sauce recipes! So will you, if you like pasta!

Title: Took the book to Italy with us
Review: When it came time to pack for Italy (we were staying in a Villa), this book went into our carry-on because we could not afford to lose it.We have a wall of cookbooks in our kitchen, and cook often in a variety of styles. This cookbook perfectly captures the simplicity of good Italian cooking. Fresh ingredients, not too complicated. Let the ingredients speak.I bought the book on a whim in 1990, and can't live without it. I'm glad to see it's still in print, and am buying copies for relatives.

Title: If you've got other pasta cookbooks you won't need this one
Review: There are way better pasta cook books out there. If you are a beginner cook and looking for an inexpensive cook book for a small kitchen, this would work adequately. If you are looking to take it traveling (as another reviewer suggested) or to keep it at your weekend getaway spot, it would be adequate, too. It is a small book, a simple book, using basic ingredients. But I also have to say that the recipes--basic and simple as I find them--are solid. Title: (Just about) the only pasta book you'll ever need
Review: I have a fairly extensive collection of cookbooks. This little gem is the only one I use for Italian ragouts. You can pay more, you will have a bigger book, it will not be any better. Too bad is no longer in print.
