Title: Impressive Tablet
Review: This N5 is my second Fusion5 Windows 11 tablet. I purchased the Pro 3 last year, and it has performed better than expected (see my review for this tablet). Based upon this experience, I decided to get the N5, which has similar features such as ports and connectivities, as a second Windows 11 tablet to use in my office. The N5 has similar performance characteristics, but there are two main differences: First is the expandable storage. The Pro 3 has an M.2 ssd slot in the back, and I installed a 1 Tb SATA ssd (form factor 2242). The N5 also has âexpandable storageâ, but you must replace the installed 256 Gb M.2 ssd with a larger capacity drive but still must be SATA with form factor 2242. Here is how I did this: I purchased an external ssd drive enclosure/dock (Amazon ASIN B0D2M8FSJ6) and a 1 Tb SATA M.2 ssd (Amazon ASIN âB099WBG6ZD), and used an open-source (free) cloning application (https://www.easeus.com/backup-recovery/clone-ssd-to-larger-ssd.html) â this comes with fairly clear instructions, but you must be familiar with Windows 11, especially using Disk Manager, since you must increase the allocation partition on the cloned disk, because cloning only preserves the original 256 Gb allocation; the cloned disk will still work, but you wonât see the full ssd capacity, for me, 1 Tb capacity unless the allocation is increased using Disk Manager. The second major difference between the Pro 3 and this N5 is the OS â the N5 ships with Windows 11 Home in S Mode, meaning that you cannot use any software or applications not officially Microsoft (for example, you could not download and install Chrome, Firefox, Adobe Acrobat or Reader, any security software â I use Avira Pro in addition to the Windows Defender that is included with all Windows 11 installs, or any personal/proprietary software). I needed to install various drawing applications (e.g., Corel, Adobe Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop) in order to use my Wacom and XPPen graphics tablets. It is quite simple to disengage Windows S-Mode (this is done online through the Microsoft Store, and is free) to realize a full-featured Windows 11 Home OS. Bear in mind that if you do this, you cannot go back to S-mode â once the change has been made to the full-featured OS, the change is permanent. One minor drawback of changing out of S-mode is that the memory demands (RAM and storage) increases as additional software/applications are installed, and the speed goes down for some high-demand software. The need for having the full-featured OS outweighs these minor differences in performance â which, for me, are not an issue. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the N5 and the Pro 3 Fusion5 Windows 11 tablets â they have features that very, very few tablets have, are affordable, and seem more like mini-laptops than tablets!.

Title: Perfect sized PC tablet with decent storage capacity
Review: This tablet was purchased to replace the bulkiness of a laptop when traveling. Although it is difficult to compete with an iPad, particularly for an iPhone user, there are still many "specialist" pc based programs that will not work on Apple products. Having researched available products, this Fusion5 tablet with 8gb RAM and a 256GB SS drive seemed to match my needs, particularly with an added 512GB of storage provided by increasingly inexpensive micro-SD cards (less than $50). And for a very reasonable price. And even my basic Microsoft 365 license allowed the additional installation of MS Office products on this tablet. My initial impressions are that it is a perfect size, reasonably fast on startup (if you limit your startup programs!), and responsive while using. I am still getting used to using a tablet as a PC, but am happy so far. I purchased a keyboard/case at the same time, but now realize that such a setup defeats the purpose of my reason for buying a pc tablet... And am now getting used to using the onscreen keyboard, far larger and easier than on my iPhone! There are a couple of things I would like to see improved as Fusion5 comes out with new versions of this tablet, most notably battery life (under 3 hours when used continuously), and the issue of heat building up in the back top right quadrant (as you look at the screen in landscape mode).Aside from those two issues, I think this tablet is a good value for money for those wanting a PC-based tablet when considering speed/performance and memory/storage.

Title: A great Windows 11 Tablet
Review: I purchased the Fusion5 FWIN232 PRO N5 tablet specifically to remotely control an Icom IC-7610 transceiver. It was an easy set up even working through typical Microsoft hoops and updates. First thing was to uninstall Office365 and a solitaire game full of ads. Not a Fusion5 issue, a Windows 11 issue. No other bloatware was noticed. I did have to remove the "S" mode before the remote control software could be installed. Hooked up a Bluetooth headset, plugged in the USB remote tuning dial with the transmit button did the acid test. On the air using my local network I was able to make several contacts around the USA and a few to South America and Australia. Performed well for such a small package. An improvement over an older Dell 2in-1 I had, faster and much lighter. I'm not sure about the battery life, only got about 2 hours initially. Probably caused by high CPU usage during the updates, got pretty hot too. After the updates and just running the remote software it cooled down considerably. Overall I'm happy with it. Its only been four days. Time will tell but at this point I counting it a winner.

Review: Works great. This is my second fusion 5 tablet. Last one was windows 10 bought 5 years ago and hasn't let me down. This one has everything I wanted for a newer tablet: Windows 11, Faster CPU, USB-C etc. Still has the speaker jack which is good.Windows 11 install came without any useless bloatware. WiFi and Bluetooth work fine (good range) Touchscreen has no issues. Can't think of any negatives.Price was very good also for the features 8Gb ram, 256Gb SSD (upgradeable)

Review: A review of the Fusion5 10.1" Windows 11 Home Full HD Tablet PC - Nov 2023 Model - FWIN232 PRO N5.This is a value for money, quality Windows 11 Tablet, I am pleased to have found it! I have used this Fusion5 10" Tablet with Windows 11S for the last 2 weeks and it has been fun, easy to setup/use, performs very well for the price, quality build, HD screen with battery life OK for a day. Sound - I had to change Windows Settings for the EDGE browser from default 50% to 100% and then it was loud as I wanted through the built-in speakers; with headphones sound was very good - no settings changes needed! I added a Fusion companion plug-in keyboard and case - a real, small, real keys keyboard - best used on a flat surface. I've not bothered to do the easy change from Win11S to Home mode - wanted to try it. Happy I purchased it as it's small, productive for its size and price; just right for my mobile use.

Review: Review for FWIN232 PRO N5-8GB.Used for computing on the go. I do not have a smart phone, nor want one.I had to retire my ageing LINX1010B tablet and wanted to replace with a modern Windows tablet without breaking the bank. I do not get on with Android O/S. I also need a dockable keyboard function â dislike on-screen tap keyboards if can be avoided. In the box â the tablet, a DC charger (with removable UK-pin out), a USB-A to USB-C adaptor, a card with warranty registration details, a basic Instruction Manual, a card with support details on and a card with initial battery charge info. The tablet was protected with a peel-off protector with system specs on display. The tablet is great. Significantly faster and snappier than my old LINX device. Having broken out of Win-S mode, I have installed my usual programs without issue. I gave it 7-8 hours of charging before use as recommended. As other(s) have said, if you do need to use the tablet while charging, it gets hot and thermal throttles the CPU. In fairness, I suspect this is standard for a tablet of this specification. The laptop cooling pad I bought years ago on a Black Friday now has a use.Screen is vibrant and responsive to my finger and an old-style tablet pen-dabber with a squishy rubber end.Battery longevity is still to be determined until I have had 3 full charge/empty cycles, but I suspect it will be about 2-3 hours of standard use. A fast charging USB-C cable was not included in the box, but I am looking at sourcing a plug/cable. Having run 2 full charging cycles, estimated battery longevity is 2hours 45 minutes (with 25% screen brightness at idle, on Balanced Power Plan, Energy Recommendations enabled)There is a blue light to indicate power on and a red light to indicate charging. But they are tiny, so much so, I didnât notice them for several hours. The included m.2 drive is SATA (NT-256 2242), not NVMe. I will query with CS whether the device is compatible with NVMe, although given the Celeron N100 CPU has just 9 PCIe lanes, it seems unlikely. Still it is better than eMMC memory. The 256 Micro SDHX card I inserted was recognised immediately.Speakers are tinny-sounding, as one would expect from a tablet. I will dig out a hamburger speaker.Overall, very pleased so far.

Review: Haven't used a tablet before but this is fabulous, we went for a Windows one for familiarity with operating system and it's fabulous. I can't believe how quickly it zips between procresses etc. Quality camera, graphics, easy to set up, delighted that unlike other machines of a similar type it has a head phone jack, docking keyboard is a great idea to turn it into a mini-lap top to free up screen space from having an onscreen keyboard where needed. Handy USB for plug in and I've bumped up storage with a 512gb micro SD card. Delivery was smooth, machine well packaged and some excellent customer service and contact.A brilliant piece of equipment for the price. Really delighted with it.
Customers say
Customers like the functionality, ease of setup, and value of the tablet computer. They mention it works well, comes with fairly clear instructions, and is a fully functional Windows 11 computer at a fair price. Some appreciate the design and say it's an impressive little tablet. However, some customers like the lag. Opinions are mixed on the heat level and battery life.
