Title: Beautiful prose; gorgeous illustrations
Review: This is a vibrant book by our beloved Toni Morrison. Three siblings spend a magical day with their nana (grandma) while mom goes out. The book includes the recipe for the penny butter fudge in the back for those who want to try to whip it up. This book would be appropriate for 3-6 year olds. Jambo Books, a childrenâs book subscription company that sends sends its subscribers 2 to 3 books each month that star children of color, will be sending this book out soon!

Title: A day with Grandmom
Review: We borrowed this book from the library and after reading it once, my child and I wanted our own copy! (ps great price on Amazon). What a cute story about 3 youngsters spending an afternoon with grandmom. Mom's headed out and that is when the fun begins. She leaves a "to do list/schedule", but of course that goes out the door when she does! The excitement includes, playing outdoors, making lunch, and of course making peeny butter fudge with grandma! (bonus...recipe included) A nostalgic reminder of all the fun we had at grandma's house. I didn't know Toni Morrison wrote children's books, and boy am I glad that she wrote this one!

Review: I love books that will build my multicultural library and just contain a normal family doing normal things. This book is simply adorable and conveys a grandmother's love. I used it for grandparents day. Def a good buy!

Title: Terrific Story and Delicious Fudge You Make
Review: Wonderful, wonderful story that just makes you smile. In reading this to children it takes me back to times my children spent at grannie''s house. Always welcoming, loving, fun...and messy. Don't most kids love cooking? Use this delightful story as a starter - and conclude with making the mouth-watering peeny butter fudge using recipe in book. Highly recommend.

Title: Grandmas can be silly!
Review: This was a book I got in a Cheerios box several years ago and gave to my oldest Grandkids. I find it helpful, as a Grandparent, To have a story that celebrates How grandmas do things a little bit differently. My grandkids giggle and laugh and like to read it over and over.
