Title: Gets the job done!
Review: Took a couple hours to put together, or maybe I was just occupied watching a movie while doing the assembly. But it was not easy or quick. The drip pan thing came rusted, totally a cosmetic issue. I brought it up to Amazon and they gave me partial refund. I emailed Cuisinart and they sent me the replacement parts free of charge, too! Winning ðThe inner probe is about 25° lower than what it is inside. The meat probe is accurate. I have a thermoworks smoke that I use to keep a remote eye on the grill temp and meat temps, and every cook has been a success. No issues with the pellet hopper or anything. I haven't gone any hotter than about 275°, so I can't speak for how this works as a grill, but as a smoker it's good! Briskets, pork shoulders, pork loins, pork belly, ribeye roasts, burgers, wings, and ribs!My only complaint isn't the smoker's fault, I just wish it was a little bigger. I've fit a 17# brisket in it with no room to spare. You might be able to get 2 pork shoulders in if you're lucky. If you need more smoke flavor, buy a smoke tube to toss in with your cooks.Overall, it's a great entry pellet smoker. Better deal than those overpriced brands.

Title: I WILL NEVER AGAIN MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BEING A CUISINART CUSTOMER
Review: It destroyed itself on first use and Cuisinart would not honor their warrantySee the attached picture. I followed all the instructions precisely but the first time I tried to cook something, the fire burned all the way up the auger and into the pellet hopper, ruining the mechanism. The melted plastic bushing you see in the picture makes it so that the auger assembly can no longer be disassembled through non-destructive means. The ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING part, however, was trying to get customer service to honor their warranty. I sent a first email on 26-FEB-2023 explaining what had happened, with pictures of the damage and proof of purchase. CS then hassled me for more pictures and said that certain parts couldn't be replaced, I kept replying with everything they asked until 23-MAR when I decided it was a lost cause to speak to them any longer. In that email I made it clear I was not interested in further correspondence, said the words "Simply send the parts you're willing to send" and then stopped replying. I never received any replacement parts. Now I've crudely converted it into a charcoal grill. It works poorly and probably won't last. The fact that I had to waste so much time disassembling it and sending picture after picture to some CS worker and got nothing to show for it is infuriating. I WILL NEVER AGAIN MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BEING A CUISINART CUSTOMER

Title: Perfect little smoker
Review: This took a bit of time to assemble. This works wonderfully and the company's customer support is amazing. There was some rusting on the plates when it was received but the company sent out a replacement right away and I got it in less than 2 weeks. This is easy to use and cooks really well.

Title: Cuisine Art CPG-465 is superior to comparable Traeger Grill
Review: I have quite a bit of experience with Traeger wood pellet grills for several years. I needed to replace my grill. I took a chance on Cuisine Art CPG-465 because of its surprisingly low price. The price is almost 50% of the comparable Traeger Grills. I have now been using the grill for nearly a month and here are my observations: 1. To my pleasant surprise the temperature control is more accurate and definitely better than the Traeger Grills so far I have been used to. 2. The LCD dial is bright & easier to read if you are trying to monitor your grill from a distance 3. As a bonus you are getting a stick into meat thermometer that shows continuous reading on the LCD dial. 4. Sheet metal work and non stick grills are made very well. The grills are in small pieces so that you can wash them in the dishwasher. You should grab the grill if you are looking for one before they bump up their prices ( seems like an introductory offer).

Title: Rusty parts, Igniter died after 4 months. Dead unit
Review: No wonder it was on sale. What a shame. My first review was about the rusty parts but for the price, and the fact that those parts wont touch food, I decided to move forward with it anyways. That was my mistake.... I should have taken the hint then. Instead I am now sitting with a few hundred dollars of meat and about to cook for others and Instead I am ordering takeout for everyone. Cuisinart used to mean "quality" to me - I think I now need to reassess my brand loyalty.I owned it for 4 months, that's it. Vacuumed out the ash after every use, cleaned the grates, and drip pan after every use, covered it any time it wasn't being used. Didn't matter.

Title: Blows the GFCI constantly
Review: Loved it for a couple months now it keeps blowing the gfci breaker each time I use it. Would invest in something else. Also initially the wires would block the fan but I fixed that but two electrical problems in a couple months Iâd pass. Also assembly seemed extensive but thatâs not a huge deal

Title: Check for Rust and be sure the main Fan blades are free to turn.
Review: New Grill/Smoker arrived midday Sunday. My wife helped assemble. The instructions were good except for the âHot Rodâ installation could have had a better picture. On initial startup, I thought I felt the Fan running, but unit shut down after failing to fire up (ignite). After 20 minutes on on hold I was told by help line I had to call a different number than one listed in manual for assistance with grills. I decided to remove a couple of covers to investigate. Then I found two wires hanging down in the way of the fan blades. After pushing those out of the way and reassembled, the grill fired up within minutes. Upon unpacking we found the main drip shield and the slide drip shield both had rust spots. I chatted with Amazon Rep and they offered two choices for replacement. Ship me another entire grill and I retrieve the parts needed as replacements and send back rest or offered to cover the expense of buying replacement shields from parts house. I asked for the second choice and await partial refund (reimbursement). I happy for now.
