Title: Ok pen, stylus is a nice touch…not worth $30
Review: I’m a pen guy. I have a LOT of pens in nearly every price point. This pen is a lightweight daily writer. The barrel is fairly thin so you have to like that. I prefer a bit of a thicker barrel personally, but it’s fine. Weight is light, I prefer a heavier pen.Functionally, fine. Construction appears middling. I have received logo pens from companies that were very similar in appearance and quality and know they didn’t pay $30 for them. I don’t know what the real price should be, but I would not buy for $30. There are MUCH better options out there.

Title: Smooth Relaxed Writing Pressure With A Touch Of Modest Elegance
Review: Hello All,The Garland Dual Function Ball point pen doubles as a stylus for your digital device. The Ink color is black I do believe. The product stats webpage states it weighs 3.6 ounces. It has a smooth finish and doesn't feel bulky whatsoever. The writing of the ballpoint pen feels smooth and almost effortless in writing pressure applied. The only pet peeve is the black tip silicone stopper that is the main interface point as the stylus. It's hollow I would much prefer it to be solid like a pencil eraser. That's my only annoyance with the design of this elegant red and gold highlights of a pen.The metal utilized If I had to guess feels like a good grade of aluminum. I hope the pen refills last a good while longer since I am a writer and enjoy writing in longhand before utilizing a digital keyboard. At the time of this current written review, the merchant is offering for Business accounts only a promo of up to a Savings of 3% limit. Nothing else for regular shoppers in terms of promotions at this time. The company that makes the pens of Garland states they've been around since the 1920s. So the retail price-point for this ball-point pen in my opinion is competitively priced.

Title: Classy gift that writes nicely
Review: My boss is retiring after several years and I wanted a way to wish him well in his next stage of life. He's of an age where he still writes from time to time and this looked like a very nice pen. He was a good manager and I learned a fair bit from him and I wanted something I felt he would appreciate. He was very surprised and quite pleased when I handed him this pen along with a retirement card. As somewhat of a pen snob (I wrote with a fountain pen for a while when I was younger) who normally daily uses one of the pricier products from the "P" company, this actually writes very nicely - I would say on par with the better gel pens or more expensive roller ball models. It achieved what I wanted, a more happily retired boss and even if you're not planning to give this away, it's a pretty nice pen to have for everyday use.

Title: Arrived broken
Review: I was disappointed that this pen arrived broken. The stylus was broken off, and I tried putting it back on, hoping that it was just a case of something that had popped off and would pop back one. Sadly, that wasn't the case. The pen is otherwise a decent pen. It's well-balanced. It writes smoothly. The ink is not quite quick-dry, but it's not a serious smear issue either. It comes nicely boxed for gift giving.

Title: Attractive pen/stylus. Problems getting ink cartridge out, see below.
Review: This is an attractive colbalt blue & gold pen. It has a medium weight to it. The barrel is more slender than I like & it makes the pen look smaller. I also prefer a larger barrel because it helps prevent hand fatigue if I'm doing a lot of writing. The "Twist to open" mechanism operates smoothly. The pen doesn't write that smoothly & I wanted to see what brand they're using, perhaps get a better refill. I can get the pen to separate but can't get the ink cartridge to come out. Most slide out smoothly, not this one, it's really in there. I don't want to use grips on it & perhaps damage the pen so I'm going to do some research & see if I'm missing something. The stylus part on top is smooth & very cushioned. It works well on any touchscreen. The box it comes in is just black paperboard with the Garland logo stamped on it. Nothing really special about it. No literature of any kind inside.

Title: A very nice, well-made pen.
Review: Although I am not familiar with the Garland brand, it has a heritage that began in 1927. It's refreshing to be able to find a company with longativity and whose well-made products are still proudly made in the USA!The pen is well-balanced and easy to hold; it twists to open and again to close. It is supremely easy to write with and virtually no pressure needs to be exerted in doing so as there is a continuous flow of ink without any ink blotting whatsoever. (The pen appears to employ a standard size refill that is readily available.)My job requires multitasking via an iPad, smart phone and laptop; each of these items has a touchscreen, so the soft rubber tip on this pen is great for effortlessly going from one device to another without leaving a multitude of fingerprints all over the screens. All in all; I am very pleased to incorporate this pen into my business arsenal and anticipate enjoying it for many years to come.

Title: great gift
Review: What a lovely gift or stocking stuffer this pen makes. I love that it is refillable. So few pens are these days. And it is updated with a stylus on top. It is very pretty and well made and comes in a lovely presentation box that is perfect for gifting.
