Title: Huge improvement over the standard grinder!
Review: This pepper grinder works great. It's easy to set the size of the pepper grinding you want, it's comfortable to use, you can see how much is left, and, most important, it keeps the counter clean! It's a great design and I'm so glad we made the switch! Sometimes small things really make a difference and this is one of them.

Title: The ultimate pepper grinder
Review: I never thought I'd be so excited about a pepper grinder, but OXO has done it yet again! For years, I've been reusing a dinky pepper grinder you buy at the grocery store that isn't supposed to be reusable. I've been putting off buying a real reusable one, and now I just feel foolish. This grinder holds a lot of pepper. It turns very smoothly and it doesn't take forever to get a decent amount of pepper out, like the store bought ones do. The finest grain setting is my favorite. No more walking around with unsightly chunks of pepper in your teeth with this thing. I like that the grip is rubbery and that the top opens easily to refill but also remains secure. It is super comfortable to use and convenient. Did I mention it arrived already full of peppercorns? I should have bought this a long time ago. OXO products never disappoint.

Title: Easy to use but no "fine" setting. medium to large chunks of pepper only.
Review: TLDR:It's easy to grind. It does a good job but will not give you fine pepper. If you only use medium to coarse pepper then this is for you. If you like fine pepper on your eggs for example, this will frustrate you.Pros:It is easy to turn and grind peper.It's fairly durable. (I've dropped it a couple times and it hasn't broken XD )Looks okay.Cons:The "finest" setting is still pretty course. If you're used to or prefer finer pepper like you get at the store for some goods, you will not be able to get that from this product.Summary:I like it. It is easy to use and for people with wrist or grip strength issues it may be a nice thing to have. it's not skinny, so if you have issues turning things and have small hands, this may be a bit awkward. That said, it does not grind finely. I don't use it on my eggs for example because I don't like to feel chunks of pepper in my eggs when I eat them. I use it quite often on my steaks though! You can see in the picture that the largest peices from the grinder are several times larger than the largest peices from the can at the store. Not a huge deal, but very off putting to me again in some foods, so I just use both products.

Review: Ordered one, dumped the salt which I assume was sea salt. Put in Himalayan salt which doesn't have all the microplastics and pollutants that modern sea salt has. Easy to turn for grinding and works well.Rather than paying $52 for the OXO pepper grinder, ordered another of this OXO salt grinder for $20 and replaced the salt with pepper corns. Works great for pepper too.

Review: Took a chance on this and glad I did! I bought it for about $28 CAD. It's a good size, fits in your hands well and easy to use. Feels very comfortable to use even. I like that it has preset grinding coarseness settings, that don't come undone like the fancier wooden grinders. I added a photo of black pepper ground to the 5 coarsenesses. It goes from fine on the top left to coarse on the top right.Money well spent, I couldn't be happier.
