Title: Skip buying this pot!
Review: We have owned percolators for years. My husband and I prefer them. This is the worst pot we have ever purchased. Upon opening the box the lid was so tight. It was very hard to get off the pot. The little percolator top was not strong enough to be a handle. Came off very easily. And was very hard to tighten onto the lid again. This morning as I poured my 1st cup of coffee, that percolator top fell into my cup. Very poor design!

Title: the coffee is now coming out very weak and watery as if its not perking correctly
Review: problem solved , they suggested to clean the pot throughly especially the basket..t the holes in the basket were clogged with coffee grains, I used a straight pin to clean them out.. this solved my problem. coffee is now normal again..

Title: glass perculator on coffee lid doesn't stay on. It won't get tight
Review: I like a electric coffee pot, but, this one is defected. Please replace the lid or the coffee pot. Everything else was 5 star rated.(delivery,packing and very nice delivery man.

Title: The cap on the lid broke
Review: After about 2 months of use, the clear cap on the lid melted and does not stay screwed on the top. The pressure from the percolation popped it off and shot scalding hot coffee everywhere Highly dissatisfied very lucky no one was burned.

Title: Very disappointed
Review: Disappointed ! - the screw down glass knob on the lid to view the perk would not tighten. I super-glued it to the lid. The coffee ground container when filled to the desired cup amount barely let the enough water return, the coffee product strength was very very weak. It left water stand in it when finished. My old Hamilton Beach one was the same size so I switched and now have strong coffee.

Title: Not plastic free inside
Review: I am trying to find a coffee making option that is free of black plastic now that it’s coming out how full of chemicals black plastic is. I was excited to try this out, it said the knob on top was BPA free (it can still have similar chemicals which have not yet been banned). I figured the whole thing would be stainless steel inside. But it’s not. Once all the components were out, on the bottom is a round black plastic thing, just ready to leech some chemicals into the hot acidic coffee. No thanks. When will manufacturers learn we don’t want to be exposed to toxic chemicals? Black plastic is the worst. Beyond that I did not get a chance to try it, so I gave it three stars to be fair, maybe others like the taste of plastic?
