Title: Household favorite!
Review: Our family fell in love with this story seven years ago. It is the first book my son wants to read and is an all around household favorite! I bought the paperback to replace our damaged hardcover. The paperback is still very durable. Hands down, one of the cutest stories ever!

Title: Great book, in excellent condition
Review: I ordered this wonderful hardback children's book used, in very good condition. It was actually in brand new condition and had never been read. I am very pleased with this purchase, especially since the book was reasonably priced, in addition to being brand new. The story is also very cute, but I already knew that, since I bought this book to replace a library book which needed to be returned. My 3-year old son especially likes that the little boy gets his dog and that the dragon gives the little boy the thumbs up sign as he is leaving. Highly recommended!

Title: Best of the Modern Kids Stories
Review: I stumbled on this book the first time at the local supermarket, and loved it instantly - as did my two kids (2 1/2 & 3 1/2). The story is simple, not too wordy. But it's also clever, so I can enjoy reading it, too. The art is fabulous, with clever drawings with a 50s-ish feel, but ultimately modern. This book will likely become a classic. I've given it as a present several times.

Title: A favorite
Review: We read this book at bedtime with our son. He loves dogs. The book's hero is a boy who really wants a dog. He gets his wish with a little help from a dragon. We're now waiting for our son to find a dragon too, so he can have his dog! He identifies with the hero, he thinks it is him! We were delighted one evening whe he pointed to the boy and said "me".

Title: Cute for kids, hilarious for adults
Review: My husband and I stumbled upon this book while waiting at our pediatrician's office -- we loved it so much, we ordered a copy for our son right away. It's a cute story for the kid, but it's even better for the grown-ups -- witty, hilarious in a dry, understated kind of way. It's fun to read and I'm always happy when my son selects it for one of his bedtime books.

Title: AWESOME book...one of our short-list favorites!
Review: We happened upon this book in the grocery store discounted books bin...I first purchased it in hardcover and can't believe I got so lucky! It was a diamond in the rough! The illustrations are completely fabulous...I love the detail that adds to the plot. The last page brings it home and you won't be disappointed with this one. I've given it as a gift because it's one of our favorites.
