Title: Feature rich editing products
Review: Firstly, this is not a retail boxed physical media product. This is a nice box with a code inside to download the products from Cyberlink. There's a slightly cumbersome process, as you have to create an account, download the Cyberlink software manager, add the licenses to your account, download the products via the software manager, and then install them (again having to re-enter the license codes). Once that process is completed, the software works fine.I'm used to using Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Designer/Photo products, so there was a bit of a learning curve for myself. These products are capable of some nice effects, but it took some definite practice to learn the nuances of it compared to mainstream photo and editing software. There are several 'steps' to working with the tools that need to be followed in order of them to work. There are also several layers of tools. Some that work at the file-level, then some only if you have a selection, etc.The video editor is straightforward and intuitive. There's also some basic tools to create simple projects like slideshows, and mini-movies. Overall these are nice products for basic video and photo editing with some baked-in effects to add some spark to your projects. The 'AI' effects are okay . . . not necessarily groundbreaking AI effects, and I found the results somewhat not pleasing, but nevertheless they do what they advertised.

Title: The Ultimate Photo/Video Editing Software for the Parent, Hobbyist, or Enthusiast
Review: This product is great for all camera types. Whether you have a cell phone camera, astrophotography camera, or professional camera, you are going to get high quality image edits with this product.Who is this product for?This product is for anyone especially for those who have struggled with learning photoshop (like everyone does!) or other professional software. You'll find this interface intuitive, easy to use, and fun.I have been using photoshop for over 10 years, and when I had the opportunity to test this product, I was really hoping I could drop the subscription and come onto CyberLink products completely. Unfortunately, that won't be the case. For the 10-15% of people who know how to harness the full power of a product like photoshop, this product won't swoop you off your feet. However, for everyone else, don't waste your money on those monthly subscriptions, this product has what you need!When I see the average person using photo editing software, it is usually the simple templates and basic image editing feature on their phone. Imagine that, but with so much more power and plugins. You have excellent templates to change just about every aspect of the image as well as beautification settings to get that perfect selfie.My favorite feature on this product is the AI feature of denoise and deblur. I am an astrophotographer and for one, low light images are highly subject to internal sensor noise, and two, the atmosphere is great for causing night sky blur. With one or two touches of a button, I can remove a significant amount of camera sensor noise and atmospheric blur. The AI feature not only removes these image impurities, but it also smooths the image out. This feature ALONE is worth the asking price.Now the video editing software is excellent as well. Just like the photo editing, you have amazing power in the video editing software. Imagine Windows Movie Maker on steroids. You have the power of AI to help clean up the video and you are able to add text to moving objects with tracking, animations, as well as music with incredible ease.The cool thing about this product is it has a whole community of people to help you. You simply ask a question, and a fellow movie/photography enthusiast will help you. There are also help features inside the program itself like "check out this video to learn more". These are extremely helpful.This product has so many cool and fun features, I could easily write 10 pages. You just got to try this software. No matter what, the AI denoise and deblur features are worth the asking price alone. You can't lose. I highly recommend this software!

Title: Fantastic upgrade
Review: I've been limping along with a 5-year-old version of another video editor and was looking for an upgrade that would be faster and include more visual effects now that I'm capturing video on multiple devices including a drone. These two companion programs are introducing me to an array of features that I have not previously had access to. For a small premium over the cost of upgrading my current video software, I believe I am getting a great value compared with the alternatives on the market. I have been editing video for more than 25 years, so adapting to Power Director is a breeze. Photo Director is also relatively easy to use for those familiar with photo editing software though I haven't done a comprehensive comparison to the industry-leading program that I use regularly.CyberLink Power Director is giving millions of people the ability to create videos faster and cheaper with effects unimaginable 20 years ago. The box shown on Amazon houses a card with directions for downloading the software along with a product key for activating it. When you download and activate you have options to load the full programs and/or the less robust, but easier-to-handle Essential versions of the video and photo software. Purchasers won't be disappointed.

Title: CyberLink PowerDirector and PhotoDirector 2025 Ultra
Review: I got this to upgrade my old (2010) photo editing software. I like that they incorporated both the video and photo software into one bundle as purchasing separately is more expensive. Itâs fairly user friendly, but you have to have some knowledge of editing software, if you do, itâs very easy to understand.This version doesnât have CDâs, you download the programs over the Internet and are given a key to put in to activate the software. Both programs have lots of features, many of which Iâm still learning. Very pleased.
