Title: Perfect
Review: Richard Scarry books are colorful, simple, and humorous. Perfect for any age child, especially if they enjoy making up silly stories about the vehicles, characters, etc. in the book. Our home library has numerous Scarry books and we often give them as gifts.

Title: Awesome book for my grandchild
Review: This was purchased for our grandchild. I have such great memories of having Richard scary books when I was a kid, but I knew immediately. I had to get one for my new grandchild. I canât wait till she can start reading this book or having it read to her. I think Richard scary books are the best books for kids.

Review: Best children's book ever written because they learn grammar as they are learning vocabulary and definitions of words and laughing at the silly stories about the characters.They learn the tenses of verbs [past, present, future etc.] They learn how adjectives and adverbs describe words and how to use pronouns. There is a focus on on treating one another with kindness and examples of consequences for misbehaving, and the lessons taught are all silly as they make their point, so it is fun to read.This is my favorite book to give for a baby present and both my children adored it.The original version needs to be put back in print again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should have 10 stars!!!!!!!.

Title: Packed with fun words and pictures
Review: Great visual dictionary that has clever imagery to help young children understand what is being defined. This one seems to be an early Richard Scarry as some of the characters are different from the later books (no Lowly worm, but there is Ooch worm; no Huckle cat, just Tom cat and Huckle bear instead). Itâs very extensive and Iâm always finding new words we hadnât read before. A great purchase!

Title: The BEST gift you can give a child!
Review: i grew up with this Dictionary and I get it for everyone I know who is having a child. My friend's daughter carried it around with her for 3 years, like most kids carry around a stuffed animal or blanket; she is in her 20's and still has it. Truly the BEST picture Dictionary ever. Just LOVE this book. This new purchase was for my newest Great Niece, due in October!
