Yelfred and Omek have been best frints since they were little blobbies. They play and snack, and sometimes they even fight, all in a language similar to but slightly different from, English. When Omek decides to borrow Yelfred's new spaceship without asking (and then crashes it), it sparks the biggest fight yet. Can these two best frints make up and move on?

Award-winning picture book creator Antoinette Portis delivers a new universe of cleverness and imagination in this hilarious, sweet, and otherworldly book about friendship.

Title: Fun and silly
Review: The lesson of sharing (perfect for siblings) is shared in a comical and unusual way with aliens, who have all their own terms for things like "frints" instead of "friends." Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was mine! I loved the weirdness and sharing it with my nieces.

Title: Hilarious
Review: My kids love this book and the made up words still manage to work their way into our conversations. “How about a nice yunch?” I have bought many copies as gifts.

Title: We love Antoinette Portis's work
Review: We love Antoinette Portis's work. We discovered Froodle first, and have enjoyed several other of her book. This one has really grown on us: it seemed just silly at first (and is indeed, very silly), but it's highly quotable too. I take great delight in my 2-year-old daughter calling me a "double-dirt bleebo." The other twisty dialogue is just as lovely.

Title: Delightfully twisted words add to the fun
Review: Funny little story that delights children, whether they're readers or must be read to. The twisted words are fun to decode, and the story is engaging for children and the adults helping them read. The cartoony art is exactly right, with non-threatening yet fierce little tadpole creatures standing in for human children.

Title: Funny
Review: Very funny. I wish this book had been around when my son was little. Knowing him, he would have tried to figure out how to translate the planet Boborp words into English. Might be a bit difficult for adult readers at first.
