Review: The silicone is thicker and better quality than I was expecting. I haven't used the crust shield yet, so I can't speak to whether or not it successfully prevents burning. I will say that it seems awfully floppy. I wish it were a bit more rigidly structured.

Title: It doesn't fit on my pie pan that has handles.
Review: I got this very quickly, which I thought would be great for Thanksgiving pies. But my two glass pie plates have handles and I can't get it to fit sungly around the handles. I will keep it to use for more conventional pie plates and see if it works on them.

Review: My husband loves Apple Pie. Adding foil to the edges is a poor solution to stop burning. its hard to maneuver and keep on, it sticks and pulls off the crust.this worked great!! no mess and super easy to clean! Love it.
