Title: Absolutely what I needed!
Review: I bought this to support my right shoulder and arm. I broke my shoulder in January and haven't been able to sleep flat on a regular mattress. Saw a larger version of this and thought that it might work but I didn't want another 'body' in my bed. Saw this one and thought it might be just what I needed. And I was right!I use it when I sleep on my left side so my right shoulder doesn't drop behind me, and I use it when I sleep on my back so my right arm and shoulder are supported. It is everything I needed and helps me sleep so soundly.The support is perfect. It's not firm like a foam mattress; it definitely has some give to it but retains its shape. I haven't had to worry about washing it yet, but I have spot cleaned it (we have a Great Dane in the household who likes to drool) and it cleans up very well. The material is soft enough for me, but I can see where someone may find it a bit scratchy.I was concerned I'd get too hot with using it all around me (I'm in menopause) but that's also not a problem at all. I put that on the material and also the little indent for the ear. Between those two I seem to have good air flow.If you're looking for something that gives you a bit of support for your upper body (not for a stomach as in a pregnant woman) this may be exactly what you're looking for. I received it extremely quickly, and it came totally rolled up and shrink-wrapped. Unwrapped it, and it bounced into shape right off without any chemical smell. Used it that night and since then every night.YAY!!

Title: Great for head and neck support
Review: This odd shaped pillow actually really does work to support the neck and head, if you use it as they illustrate. The material is not the softest, but it is crisp, and the pillow holds its shape, seems durable, and is easy to clean. The "ear hole" doesn't work for me at all, but I will note that it is the same design as most pillows that purport to accommodate ears. Must be some really tiny ears out there, because mine sure don't fit and the material in the ear hole kinds of wads up and isn't particularly comfortable. However, what does work for my ears is scooting the pillow up a bit so that the curve clears the ear. I didn't realize how much support to the head and neck would relieve pressure on the ear. It also seems to help reduce numbness in my arms and shoulders. Because of these unanticipated but welcome benefits, I highly recommend.Update: Where was this pillow all my life? The long side keeps my back nice and cozy warm and supported, and the shorter side is still long enough to cuddle up. It also softened up after one night to just right. My DH prefers the previous smaller version of this same pillow, but he's nuts, this one is wonderful.

Title: Pillow cover has a pilling problem
Review: I’m a side sleeper and this pillow is a good solution to prevent cauliflower ear from your ear pressing on your pillow. This pillow design is comfortable, but the pillowcase material is a basic thin cotton fabric similar to inexpensive sheets. It’s never felt all that comfy.After about 6 months of use, I was disappointed to see the pillowcase had developed pilling over most of the surface. I’ve washed the pillow case according to the directions about once a month. I’m now looking for a new pillowcase. You might want to consider a different pillow that either has a better pillowcase or the ability to purchase a better pillowcase.

Title: It’s silly. It’s ugly. It’s lumpy. It’s floppy. It’s scratchy. I have never slept better.
Review: I’ve had this pillow for a week now. This is not a looker. It will never look nice on the bed. The cover is s bit scratchy (not the percale I’m used to), and I wish it came in other colors. I found the fill to be both lumpy and not quite enough. A zipper to make it adjustable would be a great upgrade. The ear hole looks silly, and doesn’t actually align with my ear.BUT. I have slept through the night, every night, without having to wake up in the middle of the night to adjust, move, flip, or swap the pillow out. And I wake without neck pain. The inner curve cradles my shoulder perfectly. The “ear hole” actually makes a nice divot for my head to rest, while my neck is supported. The long side provides great support for my back (and a hug), and the short side is perfect for my arms to wrap around. This is a keeper.

Title: Be Aware!
Review: I bought this pillow to help with pain, as described in its product description. In reality, this pillow is very Thick and large and gets warm after sleeping a few hours. I am a side sleeper, and my neck hurts after using it. My lower back also hurts in the morning. I think the foam is too thick in size, and the body lies in a boat shape, which makes your lower back tilted for hours, which causes lower back pain. Instead of helping, it actually caused pain in my neck and lower back. I think this shape and size may be okay for a six-plus-footer male. But not for average height person.

Title: Great for back & side sleepers!
Review: Sleeping on my back, using this pillow under my head (along with a regular pillow under my knees to elevate my legs) I sleep on my back in what looks like a "pool floatie" position. Once asleep, I stay asleep and I don't move. I usually get about 6 hours of uninterupted sleep! This is a first! I've never gotten sleep this good! When I use it, sleeping on my side, I like how it's "U" shape hugs me. It's so very comforting! It even has a removable (zippered) case on it that is machine washable. This pillow has been a game changer!UPDATE: For those who have complained about the pillow case being rough in texture or about not being able to get a replacement pillow case... I just bought a pillow case intended for a "body pillow" and (although it doesn't fit perfectly) it fits! I now have a pillow case on my DMI Side Sleeper Neck Pillow in MY choice of color and texture. It covers up the spot on the pillow intended for your ear. But, that doesn't bother me. I think it's am acceptable trade off.

Review: Works great for side sleeping! The hole for ear cooling is placed too high up for my ear to reach it, but overall the pillow has a loose enough filling I don't find it too hot for sleeping. I have a shoulder injury and this pillow works great to let me sleep on my side but still support my injured shoulder so it does not feel strained in the morning. Best sleeps I've had in 4 years since my injury! I wake up pain free now :)Pillow also works great for propping your back up to keep you on your side, depending on which way you flip it.Has a nice removable cover that washes well. I sacrificed an old 100% cotton pillow case to make a sleeve that fits easily on the top as well (cut off one end of the pillow case to make a cloth tube) so I don't have to remove the pillow's cover every week for washing - it takes a few minutes and a bit of dexterity to get it back on after. But it is do-able to remove and wash the cover without too much difficulty.
