Title: The deep dish pizza pan for perfectionists
Review: I've always struggled with getting the crust right when using regular baking pans and cast iron pans, its usually not "done" as thoroughly and remains a bit moist.This pan solves that problem. The venting holes at the bottom allow for moisture to escape which cooks and crisps the bottom of the crust to perfection. You just have to remember to put a drip pan on the rack one level below. As an added tip you can sprinkle a bit of grated parmesan into the pan after buttering it and before laying the dough in ... the parmesan will carmelize into a nice yummy finish on your crust.The pan is made of sturdy heavy gauge material and cleans very easily. Yes, this is more pricey than other options available but if you're a perfectionist it's hands down the best pan for deep dish pizza.

Title: Perfect Pizza with this Pan
Review: Just received the LLOYDS PIZZA PAN today and put some pizza dough into pan first then pizza sauce then the shredded mozzarella and some sliced thin onions on top of the cheese. Preheated the Oven to 500 degrees and have a Oven Thermometer that verified 500 degree temperature. Put the LLOYDS PERFORATED PIZZA PAN into a Conventional Gas Oven on the top rack and set a timer for a 15 minute cook time. Took out the PIZZA Pan at 15 minute mark on the nose and used a wide spatula to get under the pizza and the pizza slid out without any hassle instantly. The Pizza Crust was Crispy Brwon on the edges and the bottom with a perfect leopard browning marks, the cheese was melted to perfection and the onions were cooked thoroughly. I am amazed that the first attempt to cook pizza in this pan was spot on, usually you have to go through trail & error a couple times to dial in the correct cooking temp versus cooking time. (NO PIZZA STONE NECESSARY for a perfect pizza) Definitely Money Spent well if you want some Perfect Pizza. I did use a Pizza Dough that I made from scratch with a cold ferment 2 days ago waiting for this pan and used a Hydration of 55%, I like thin crust pizza. I will try some other Dough Recipes with different Hydrations % to see what this pan can do. Very Impressive for a first run on this pizza pan.

Review: This pan works incredibly well. My deep dish pizza dough (King Arthur recipe) fit perfectly in the pan and baked into exactly the kind of Chicago-style deep dish pizza I was hoping to create. I had no problems with the dough sticking to the pan, I didn’t need to grease the pan at all, and the holes in the pan allowed for air circulation and an crispy bottom crust. Cleanup was simple. I highly recommend if you like deep dish pizza. I normally prefer thinner New Haven style pizza, but deep dish is a satisfying change of pace - and everyone loves pizza.

Review: Makes a great deep dish pizza. Nice uniform baking, crust browned top, bottom and sides. Pizza slides out easily, truly non stick. Works so good, I just ordered a second one. Cooked both shown at 450F for 25 min, all bread dough cooked evenly including the bottom.

Review: This is by far the best of all the pizza pans, expensive or inexpensive,I have ever owned. The crust bakes up perfectly and the pizza slides out onto our pizza board. So many pizza pans either produce soggy pizza or else we can't get the pizza out of the deep pan. I wasn't sure about the holes in the bottom but it turned out that they baked the pie crust up evenly. I have several other kinds of deep dish pizza pans as well as a pan by the same manufacturer that looks identical but doesn't have holes in it. Pizza gets stuck in all of them but not in this one. Well worth the investment.
