Title: Absolutely Fantastic Product
Review: I initially ordered one of these for a relative who entertains a lot, and thought it would come in handy for them. I then later thought about it, and realized this *might* be handy for me/my family too. So...of course, I had to order one.I really had minimal expectations for this product. I knew it obviously cooked pizzas and possibly other little frozen items. I had no idea that I would literally use it all the time. Every day.I have 2 kids who love pizza and enjoy snacks like mozzarella sticks, fish sticks, and other frozen food items that you might typically throw in an oven when you are crunched for time. These are obvious items that can be used easily on this product, and it certainly delivers. It is incredibly simple to use. You plug it in, throw whatever you want to cook on it, and set the timer. You don't waste time preheating. There is no heat adjustment, but it cooks it perfectly. It rotates while cooking, and my kids get a kick out of watching it cook right in front of them. It cooks pizza (even the cheapie junk ones) into perfection. I have made countless homemade pizzas and it makes them perfect every time. Reheating your pizza on it refreshes it to its former glory. Once the timer is done, it stops heating the product (but simply keeps rotating), so you don't burn your food if you get distracted for a minute or 2.What I was not counting on is all the other items we would end up cooking on it. I enjoy making homemade cookies and cinnamon rolls from scratch with my kids, and (so long as they are not large or rise too tall) we are able to cook those with ease, too. I am a vegetarian (mostly vegan), and I can cook my veggie patties and other veggie products on it, and they don't come out soggy like they do sometimes in a microwave. You can add things to your food while it is cooking, and you can see for yourself whether it is done or not (or burnt). Leftovers from a restaurant reheat perfectly on it, too. No more nuking food with a microwave. The cons to this product: You have to watch to make sure you aren't cooking something too tall or close to the heating element (think dough that rises up too high, etc). When I make cookies, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, or anything doughy on it, I make them small or squash them down a little so they don't rise too high.Another con is that if you have a super large pizza, this won't accommodate it. The circular pan thingy it cooks on will cook a standard large pizza (like standard frozen pizza size), but no larger. That said, the product would probably take up too much space if it were any bigger, which leads me to my next con...yes, it is a little bulky if you do not have space for it.While you can certainly burn yourself on it, as with anything, you have to use a little common sense and keep it out of reach from little hands. That said, it is not as drastic of heat and the risk of harming yourself should you touch it is MUCH less than if you were messing with an oven. I have used this product every day (unless we are out of town) for about 15 months straight, and with minimal care, I can't recall a time that I burned myself, and I rarely have to wear oven mitts since I can just grab a spatula and get it off easily onto a plate straight from the pan. My kids have never burned themselves on it either. I always supervise them if they want to add something on whatever we are cooking (which they love to participate in), and they know to be careful. I always worry with an oven, but with a little caution, I really don't worry much with this item. I can touch my finger quickly on the pan while it is rotating and not hurt myself (as long as I pull my finger off right away). Could I do that with an oven and not hurt myself? Uh, no.Cleaning it is a breeze, too. Overall, we love it so much that our microwave hardly ever gets used and our oven is reserved for larger items, like casseroles and other larger home-cooked items.I would recommend this for anyone and everyone, and not just for the pizza lover. It is not expensive, and I would imagine this would be a great gift for the average college student.

Title: Almost Equal to a oven
Review: it has a very nice simple appearance. It is very easy to clean. All you have to do is take the thing off and dust it off. Just make sure that it is not hot before you clean it. This is very easy to use. Just make sure to keep the direction book in case you're cooking different things besides pizza. This thing works great for cookies, croissants, garlic, bread, and pizza. Anything you can think of works it heats up perfectly and the timer is very loud, so you always hear it.

Title: Efficient & Fun!
Review: I canât believe how much we are enjoying using this Pizzazz Plus open âpizzaâ ovenâit cooks surprisingly well, is simple & fun!We cooked pizzas on it when friends came over and they turned out perfect. Itâs fast too as there is no preheating and it doesnât heat up the kitchen when itâs cooking. And of course we were all fascinated watching it rotate and cook the pizzas right before our eyes. The real surprise was baking scones on it this morning. I was skeptical if the inside would be done and so to test I did 1/2 batch in the ârealâ oven (took longer to cook because preheating doubled the time) and 1/2 batch on the little Pizzazz. It did an amazing job! Iâve attached a photo so you can see this delightful little countertop oven is simply amazing and for more than just pizza.I know what Iâm gifting to family & friends this Christmas!

Title: Review for homemade pizza - I found that thinner crust with some olive oil in it did the best on this unit
Review: I mainly make homemade, fresh pizza. I was interested in this because I was looking for something to use to keep from having to heat the oven up in the warmer months here in the south. I was happily surprised when I got this out of the box that it really has a very small footprint. Once the pan is removed, it isn't any larger than my toaster.Compared to a hot oven or grill, this cooks homemade pizza a good bit slower. Part of what makes it slow is that there's only one pan. I'll probably buy another to help speed it up since my family normally wants 4-5- pizzas every time I make them, as they eat a lot and want leftovers. At 15-20 minutes per pizza, which is about what it takes, it takes about twice as long as the oven, but that doesn't include oven warm up time, which is considerable. The issue is just between eating pizza 1 and pizza 2 getting ready, they are hungry and don't want to wait, but a 2nd pan will help. I've seen prices on those running about less than twenty dollars at this time and they have them here on Amazon.I do find it a bit awkward to put the pan on. The unit will not work until the pan is on the spindle. The controls are very straight foward. Push the timer down and turn it, and pick top, dual, or bottom elements. For homemade pizza, I use both. Once the pan is in place and the unit is on, it will start to turn very evenly and cook the pizza. The entire area over the pan gets hot, but it is the hottest right under/over the elements. The pizza cooks well, especially thinner crusts. I made some thick bread type pizzas - about an inch thick- and those were not as crispy on the bottom as I usually like, though they cooked very well and were definitely done. I let those go about 4 minutes longer than the other ones. The pan does have a bit of an edge, but I found that making my pizzas a bit smaller than the pan helps prevent any cheese drips.I did notice that the better pizzas were the ones in which I had added a bit of olive oil to the dough. They came out crispier and seemed to cook the best with this particular pizza cooker. The pan is non-stick and very easy to clean. Putting it in the dishwasher can discolor it, according to the book, but I can't see any reason to put it in the dishwasher when it is so non-stick that the food just slides off. It washes up in less than a minute in the sink.I'm giving it 5 stars, because it does what I want- it makes a good homemade pizza without heating the house up. I'll just always make my dough with olive oil, and stretch it thin for this unit.

Review: When I ordered the "mini pizza cooker", I was thinking "Oh, I can just take this to where I want to cook my pizza whenever I want. Office, Kitchen, wherever!". What I got was so much more.If you're used to cooking frozen pizza's in the oven, this may cut down on the cook times, it may not (it varies per brand). But it will come out tasting Just as good if not better. There is no preheating needed which is awesome.BUT, that's not all it does.Old pizza needs to be reheated? WAY better than a microwave, and takes just a tiny bit longer. Also good for re-heating other things, like wings, chicken fingers, panzorotti's (though I wouldn't use it to cook one from a raw state), sandwiches, burritos, and more. The biggest surprise I found for this machine? It's perfect for roasting nuts. My father is half a nut, and I say that because his diet is like 50% normal food, and 50% nuts. He loves this thing. Throw some hazelnuts on here for a few minutes and the skins just fall off, and they roast to perfection.I've owned this machine for a bit over a year, and the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the motor which spins the tray has started to occasionally make high pitched loud grinding/squealing noises after a bit more than a year of use. It's bearable and still works perfectly, but the noise is like nails on a chalkboard and is indicative of mechanical issues.Even including the issue stated above, I'm still happy with my purchase. This little cooker has brought more convenience and appreciation for it's uses that I ever could have expected.
