Title: Very Thin but For my Special Needs Child who loves landmarks perfect!
Review: This book is very thin paper back. It covers 50 landmarks with about 1/3 page print in fairly large sized font. The rest of the page is a decent quality picture of the place described.For my purpose this was perfect. I homeschool my 9yo nonspeaking autistic child who has a special interest in famous places and landmarks. I was able to read the section, show the picture and maintain interest. I was able to ask questions about each place and he used his AAC ipad to type a response or to point to a multiple choice answer (I wrote answer options on dry erase board and verbally asked question). For our purpose this gave us just enough info to often times lead him to more interest--- we then would utilize youtube, other books and geography books, maps and globe to continue the study on the location.I can see this book quality would be a disappointment for many. For us it was perfect.
