Title: Sadly--I didn't buy this book
Review: I found this book at my local library and took it home. The content is outstanding. I often end up buying from Amazon library books I particularly like, to have them as references and to mark them up. BUT for me this book has a FATAL FLAW which is all too common in modern publishing: the main content is printed in small print, but far worse, the color of the print is faint gray, not clear black. I guess book designers (who probably don't read the books) think this is stylish, but in this case, it is especially bad, even for those with good eyes. Scroll thru the examples of pages on the webpage, and readers will see what I mean--the physical book is worse than the web examples. Larger titles clear black; text faint gray. I hope the publishers of this and similar books read this review and more often put readability ahead of style: 5 stars for content (including photos); 1 star for readability.
