Title: Great toy planetarium! Don’t forget to remove the protective film!!
Review: This is a cool little planetarium toy. Excellent value for the cost. There are three different star domes that are interchangeable. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE THIN PLASTIC SHEETING THAT IS PROTECTING THE DOMES! We didn’t realize this at first and the projected stars were blurry until we removed it. Other than that super easy to use. I like the white color, hangs nicely on my kid’s wall.There’s also a secondary projector for putting images of space things on the ceiling or wall… like planets and spaceships and stuff.And a great out space science poster too.

Title: Update: broke after less than a week
Review: Update:Less than a week after having this it broke. It was VERY gently used. It just sat on the table the whole time. After a few days, it started turning itself off after less than a minute of being on. We made sure the issue wasn’t the outlet or power block. The issue was definitely the item itself. Don’t waste your money. We’re returning it.It’s an ok product. A little over priced for what it is though. I think $15-20 would be more appropriate.Pros:-different sky dome options-fair definition-plenty of sky object disk options (those are small but clear images)-small footprint-lightweightCons:-loud when rotating (not great when using for bedtime)-the domes are a little fuzzy even after the protective film is removed-only has a blue light option (I thought it came with a white light)-short power cord-doesn’t come with wall adapter-the whole thing is made of cheap plastic-the domes are made of an especially thin, cheap plastic (I don’t expect this thing to last long)Not super impressed, but my baby likes it well enough to keep.

Title: Makes a good gift for young children interested in the stars
Review: For a less expensive product, I think it does alright. The throw range of the projecter is pretty limited, so if you use this in a large room, the stars and constellation lines will get blurry. But when it is close to the wall or ceiling, the projection does appear nice and crisp.This is not a major quibble, but it's funny to me that they took the time and attention to detail to make the Northern and Southern hemisphere projection domes pretty accurate to the actual night sky with the positions of all the constellations - but didn't take the time to notice they had imprinted them on the dome reversed horizontally. When you look straight at the dome, they do appear to be correct, but the projection on the wall comes out reversed so all the constellations are projected in the opposite direction (horizontally) from how they appear in the real night sky.Again, not a deal breaker, but it seemed like an easy problem to correct during the development of this product.

Title: Factory mistake
Review: I bought this for my husband but when he used it he discovered the picture was backwards. The seller was very responsive and quickly sent a new one. It is a very good value for your money and easy to use.

Title: Remember to REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE FILM from the domes
Review: It's a cool item with neat features, but I made the mistake of not removing the film from the domes. It affected the clarity of the images. Once I removed the film - duh, the images were crystal clear. PS. I love that you have the option to hang it on a wall.

Title: Underpowered light source
Review: Very blurry feint star and planet images.It has a single 3v basic led as its light source, ive had keychain moon projectors with more output. I alao own the spaceman type which doesnt suffer this.Its like they got a good product and tried to make it cheaper by using 1c led's rather than 25c decwnt ones .. and it really shows.I wouldnt recommend anyone buys this.(Phot above uses the night camera so its visible)

Title: Very easy to use projector with nice clear projected images
Review: Growing up, I always enjoyed trips to the planetarium...it was one of the few field trips that I actually looked forward to every year. I had always wanted a projector like this growing up, but the ones they made back then were pretty pricey. The price on this one was just right, so I decided to give it a shot.This little Planetarium Projector is pretty cool. You get star maps to look at while stats are projected onto the ceiling. There's also a mini slide show feature where you get these disks you can change in and out that have different real life space themed images as seen from the James Webb Space Telescope. The only small downside, is the light in the projector is not bright enough...you really have to get the room as dark as possible to be able to see the images projected on the walls and ceilings...or sit the projector closer to the ceiling.I would definitely recommend this Planetarium Projector for adults and kids alike. Of course I have fun playing with the different images and star maps when my niece is visiting, but when it's just the hubby and I...we turn off the lights, turn on the projector and watch our favorite space movies like we're in space too.
