Title: Works Perfectly!
Review: Ordered eight of the Xtsuen Bluetooth Soil Moisture Meters and all of them are working perfectly. The only downside is that they don’t come with the AA batteries. It takes three batteries per unit. The app has custom plant where you can plug in the specs and select a picture from your photo library or take a photo. It has been few weeks and all of them are working fine.

Title: Moisture meter ?
Review: So this type of moisture you have to leave in the soil and it only for the one plant you setup for not for multiples plants which is unfortunate and the app a test in its self to get working once I did got it to work but it only has a few number of types of plants not all and u can’t add yours :/ that’s why only 3 stars from me definitely a return

Title: Handy little gadget for sure! HECK of a good deal, with only one very minor caveat.
Review: This is a handy little soil sensor that I received as part of the Amazon Vine review program. I chose it because I am a chronic over/under waterer, and I think it does a great job serving it's purpose. I like the option of pulling up the Tuya Smartlife app and reading the soil moisture from my recliner, ha ha. The ONLY reason I knocked off a star was because it did not include batteries, and, AND, I hate those little battery cover you have to find the tiny screwdriver in order to open! Yeah, I know, personal problems, but if it had included, even inexpensive, batteries, even charging $1 more for the sensor, the initial setup would have been much less annoying, and I am always going to be fully honest when doing Vine reviews! I also would have liked to have seen a digital display ON the unit itself, but then again, that certainly would have made it more expensive, and maybe less of a good value for the money. The rest of the experience was great...the sensor paired quickly, and responded very fast when I watered the plant. I cannot tell you if it is 100% accurate, because I have yet to have two soil sensors, even the identical units, read exactly the same, but I think that need to know exactly sort of misses the point. What I need to know is really, IS THE SOIL DAMP? IS IT DRY? HOW MUCH DRYER IS IT NOW THAN TWO DAYS AGO??? That is what is important, not whether it is 77% or 68% or 44%....for me, the numbers are not as important as knowing the correlation between when I've watered and now.I doubt you could ever find a better deal than a bluetooth soil sensor in this price range. It IS designed for inside plants only, as it is not weatherproof, but that is disclosed in the description and certainly, at this price, it would be ridiculous to expect it would be weathertight, etc. Also, if you have issues with using apps like the Tuya Smart app, well, pretty much you'll need to stay with non-connected devices in general. As for me, I'll be buying more of these, as I have yet to find any moisture sensors in this price range, much less that link to my phone and an app!

Title: Works well
Review: Very easy to set up and the accuracy is good. Works right on smart phone. But I do wish it had more plants listed in the app

Title: Just stick your finger in the plant soil, or lift plant to see if watering is needed.
Review: This device & app needs a lot of work. First you have to add your plants to see what is going on. Then to top it off you only get a readout in percentages. Like 45% for a mint bush. Like what does that mean? Should I top it off and make it 100%!? But what happens if the soil becomes rotten then? Bluetooth meaning only a certain distance.Syncing the device took the better part of the day. Wasn't worth it, because of the odd readout.Easier to just stick finger in plant soil to see if plants need watering, or if you see leaf ends are scorched (if outdoor) or just lift the pot if it small and not heavy. This device could be fantastic, but would cost much more if you could just easily select your plant from a database, or better yet you could just take a picture and Google Lens finds it and adds it to the visual database. It would also benefit from rechargeable batteries and a mini solar panel, but also the option to charge via USB-C. Wifi would be wonderful because you could check up on plant and then water via WiFi (I have a cheap Orbit WiFi watering system, and it works great!). At that point the hassle would be well worth it.

Title: Didn’t work
Review: I sued fresh batteries, but I had frequent disconnects. I also had a very hard time finding information about the needed moisture for plants that aren’t already in the app. Shame, but it seems pretty cool.

Title: Helpful in plant care, but only so much
Review: Took me a minute to set this up as I didn't realize I needed to unscrew the back to add batteries. (AAA x3) Also, the directions are SUPER small so get your glasses out OR find someone with young person eyes. Once I got it installed and set up, it works pretty much as advertised. I think after using this a few times, I prefer a more "analog" version that just has a scale of WET to DRY. As a new plant parent, the percentage meter isn't as informative as I'd like it to be. It gives a range (ex. 20% - 50% is where the plant should be) and I'm still a little confused as to whether I should water it or not. Maybe that's just me being extra careful for no reason, but it's how I feel. It works with an app you need to download and it took me a minute to find the right item to install. There are dozens of other devices you can access with this app which is great if you have any of them. The app has lots of preloaded plant options with details about how much moisture they need, but if you want to use it with a plant not listed, you WILL have to find out the info about the plant and add it to the list. I had to add something as simple as pothos so I'm not really pleased with the plant list. Once it's there, it's available to access in the list. This is kind of annoying though because it's not easy to find the "moisture percentage" that the app requires as most resources just give you general information about a plant, not the exact percentage of moisture that it should be. What would make this amazing is if there were a way to download more plant options with the information already included. For now, I'm just using it to tell me if the plant is super dry or not which to me is less than 20%. If you're more well versed in plant care, this may be the thing for you, but for me I will be using it until I get something a little more informative.
