Title: Great toy. A lot of fun
Review: I have two boys. Each one has (had) a basketball hoop on the backs of their door - which they both enjoyed, but enjoyed independently. They would often create contests for themselves, but it was a 'take your turn' type of contest (which sometimes ended with uneven turns & led to fighting, etc. This basketball hoop solved for that problem.This hoop created almost a 'mini-popshot' experience for them to both play at the same time - and created a new set of challenges - creating new fun for them. We still have the single hoops 'up,' but this one gets a lot more use.The hoops do a good job at scoring, etc. I have no issues with the functionality of the device.The hoops fold up, which is helpful when it is on the back of a door, but (at least for our door) it is still 'deeper' than the distance from the door to the wall - so that if you open the door all of the way, it will hit the wall (and now we have dents in the sheetrock)Other than that, very happy with this hoop set & happy to recommend it to others.

Title: Fun enough toy
Review: This is a novelty toy, more for killing a few minutes here and there than hard competition. I like the lights and flair the board itself has, even though the overall build is defititely on the cheap side. I hate the rubber balls, but anything else wouldn't work with the build of the backboard and hoops, instead solidifying imminent breakage. The score keeping isn't always the most accurate and it is pretty small in size. It works well enough to be used occasionally for those time killing moments, and that's probably all it will ever be used for most anyway. Good novelty.

Title: Excellent quality. A lot of assembly.
Review: There definitely was quite a bit of assembly required for this item, but the parts are all solid feeling. The metal for the brackets and the hoops are stronger than I expected for a mini-basketball game. They don't need to be so strong since the balls are small and light, but I appreciate the higher quality. Everything went together well, especially as they included the 2 tools needed for assembly. My one gripe is they include exact hardware count. I dropped and couldn't find one of the screws for the door mount, but that was more my fault.The game works well and fit on my door just fine. I like the volume can be adjusted, though the location of the power button could be better. You need to reach up behind the center of the backboard and kind of feel around for it, so not ideal, but works fine.

Title: Smaller than expected
Review: This basketball hoop scoreboard is much smaller than expected. It did offer endless fun for my kids. Its great features, like the electronic scoreboard and four balls a lot, make it a hit for our game room. It's easy to use once set up, but the hoop is heavy. Need to do extra mounting to secure it and take longer to set it up. Additionally, it’s smaller than anticipated, though it still provides plenty of entertainment for all of us.

Title: 2 Player Basketball Hoop Indoor, Over The Door Basketball Hoop with Electronic Scoreboard
Review: This was fairly easy to assemble, and the scorer seems to work well. The only downside is that it is wider than most of our doors, so we will have to make a 2x4 rack to attach to the wall to put this on for the children. Right now, we have it attached to the top of the bunkbed and the children love it. The basketballs are more like bouncy balls, but the children don't seem to mind at all. I love that they can both play at the same time, which means no fighting. This also has a volume button that can even mute the sounds. This basketball hoop feels pretty sturdy except at the joint between the two pieces, there it feels like I need to take care when carrying it. Once put up, the foam bumpers at the back keep it from smacking into the wall. All in all this is a nice backboard and the children (and maybe even the adults) are having fun playing with it.

Title: Sensor Doesn't Work Among Other Issues
Review: Let me start by saying that I am getting frustrated with what appears to be reviews from people who don't even open the packaging to see what they have bought because I rely in part on what they write when making my decisions. As a bit of background, when our kids were young, we had a nice version of one of these so when I saw this, I wanted to grab it for times when the family gets together. As I began to assemble it, I quickly realized that it was not as well made and actually began to make plans in my mind of how I would have to modify it if I wanted it to last. I took some photos of various areas that are troubling weak spots or simply poorly (and cheaply) designed areas. The metal screws right on the plastic without washers will cause cracking there is no exception this will happen eventually. This is even more problematic when you look at the three hooks that hold it to the door (or wherever) because those spots get a lot of energy applied to them and I doubt that they will last very long at all - beyond normal use consider how kids tend to play with active toys like this. Additionally, there were places that they preassembled that weren't done correctly or simply not done at all. First, the spring in the second photos was just hanging there and it was a pain to get it attached. Secondly, the wiring for the lighting on the one side was pinched under the plastic cover rather than put through the opening that was designed for it and located right next to it (I managed to carefully pull back the plastic and fix that spot but didn't think to take a photo of it). Finally, the one hoop assembly is crooked, so you have to turn it for the hoop to be straight and when you do the back part is crooked. So, with all of those issues already going against it I finally got it assembled and got ready to start it up. At this point let me mention another issue, this thing requires three AA batteries to run it - even the one we bought almost 20 years ago had a powered option! Given all of the lights, sounds, and sensors you will burn through AA batteries faster than the amount of fun you will have from it; at the very least they should have gone with a rechargeable lithium battery option. I got it all up and running and there was an instant problem - the one sensor doesn't work as you can see in the video. I tried several times to get it to work including unplugging and checking the connections, but nothing works it's just simply dead. My suggestion is to ignore the other reviews and just pay attention to the points I have made and keep looking.
