Before Ronald Acuna Jr. was exploding baseballs and launching himself into stardom, he was a kid from Venezuela with a dream of playing major league baseball. When it all started, he didn't know if he would ever become the player he is today--a bona fide phenom who graces the cover of Sports Illustrated before he even turns 20 years old.

Ronald Acuña Jr. is one of baseball's most exciting young talents, a bona fide superstar who burst onto the scene as a rookie in 2018, en route to becoming one of the game's brightest stars. In his first season as an Atlanta Brave, he set multiple rookie records and led the team in hitting with a .293 batting average, 26 home runs and 65 RBIs. But there was a time before Ronald Acuña Jr.'s destined-to-be success became reality. This book recounts the path he took to become one of baseball's finest young players.

Jackson Carter takes you through Ronald's childhood and early days as a baseball prodigy. From stories about his mom and dad, to how he overcame challenges at each hurdle, this memoir is an uplifting account of how dedication yielded success.

Title: Not accurate, huge waste of money
Review: I bought this for my baseball statistics loving son. He was two minutes into it when he started finding errors in the book. It’s very poor writing. The entire table of contents is about Juan Soto when the book is supposed to be about Ronald Acuna Jr. Many errors in the book such as saying he’s hit 500 home run in his career. Save your time and money.
