LEARNING WHILE HAVING FUN: This bilingual animal memory game is a great way to teach children the Spanish names of different animals. It's also a fun and interactive way to improve their language skills and memory.
2-IN-1 GAME: The game includes two sets of cards, each with 24 different animal pictures on them. The first set is in Spanish, and the second set is in English. This allows children to practice their language skills in both languages.
EASY TO PLAY: The game is simple to set up and play. Each player takes turns flipping over two cards and trying to find a match. If they find a match, they get to keep the cards. If they don't find a match, they have to put the cards back on the table.
EDUCATIONAL VALUES: This game not only helps children improve their language skills, but it also teaches them about different animals from around the world. It's a great way to promote language immersion and cultural education.
GREAT FOR THE CLASSROOM: This game is perfect for use in the classroom or at home. It's a fun way to engage children in learning and can be used as a reinforcement for language lessons.

Title: Fun Matching Game
Review: Our youngest of four kids has always amazed us with his ability at matching games. From about age 5 onward his ability to memorize card locations meant that we, his parents, and his older siblings never had a chance to win. Seriously, playing against him would make me nervous and anxious because I thought I should be the one with the better memory given that I'm an adult and he was just a child. But after the age of 5 he would ALWAYS win, without exception. Other kids would come over for a challenge. We'd roll our eyes and then our son would run the table on those poor souls. If they would have known any better, they would have been humiliated by their devastating losses, but you know how kids can be. We used to joke that our kid could make a ton of money challenging tourists on the street corner. He is literally a matching game prodigy. Anyway, this matching game brings up a whole slew of memories. And what a great game it is. The bilingual aspect is cool and fun and might help reinforce language learning, but doesn't change the game at all since the matching is based on visual depictions. The English-only booklet teaching about different animals is cute and informative for little kids. I have a complicated, somewhat tortuous history with matching games, but even though I haven't won a game in over 12 years I still really like this type of game.

Title: cute matching game
Review: My toddler love animals so this will be a good birthday gift. As another reviewer mentioned I did notice a couple errors, and I am only fluent in English so I am not 100% sure of the accuracy of the Spanish cards.Right now we will only use it for matching photo's, eventually I want him to learn Spanish so I figure these will grow with him and be great for that down the line

Title: Love this matching set
Review: I got this for my 1.5 year old and he’s super into it and when I try to put it away he says no and asks to play more. We haven’t set it up for the matching game yet, but he really enjoys looking at and holding the picture pieces. It comes with an animal booklet which is a nice bonus and the pictures are slightly larger than the card pieces. The pictures are all very nice and high quality with good color and what appears to be all real life animal pictures. It is great for education learning animal names in English and Spanish and also for practicing some animal sounds.

Title: Good for the brains of children, adults and the elderly, but NOT for children under 3 yrs!
Review: "CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs."The booklet is not bi-lingual which I found disappointing even though I'm basically [English] monolingual.I don't see how a 1-3 year old could fit these into their mouth and choke on it. The 2.5yo to whom I handed these obviously didn't even consider putting these in her mouth. Perhaps a boy might chew on them... She wanted to look at the animals and "arrange" them helter-skelter on the floor. I didn't play the memory matching card game with her; we just used them like flash cards, saying the names of the animals.--- Benefits for children: From a young age, memory games can help children learn how to remember, recognize and recall information in an enjoyable manner. Not only do they promote cognitive development, but they also help to improve concentration, creativity and problem-solving skills.Memory games can also help children develop their social skills, as they often need to communicate and influence others in order to succeed. These games help to stimulate their brain and can help them to develop their short-term and long-term memory. The benefits of memory games for children’s development are numerous.--- Benefits for adults: Playing memory games is one of the best strategies for adults to build a strong mind. Memory games enhance brain function, helping adults develop stronger attention, concentration, and focus. They also sharpen an adult’s critical thinking, attention to detail, and visual recognition.--- Benefits for seniors: Forgetfulness is a natural part of aging, but there are many things older adults can do to slow down the process — specifically brain games. Much like physical activity to keep your body in good shape, keeping your brain active is important in all stages of life. Brain games and puzzles serve as excellent mental exercises that can help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia, and they’re a great way to improve problem-solving skills.I hope to learn a wee bit of Spanish playing with my grandtoddler, if all we use them for is flashcards.

Title: Beautiful pictures, not entirely bilingual
Review: This Spanish-English Animal Matching Game from Maetrix has 32 sets of animal picture cards, with the animal's name in English on one card and in Spanish on the other card. There are also 4 sets of blank cards if you want to add your own favorite animasl to the game. There are no instructions; they must assume you know the basic rules of playing Memory. For younger kids, just don't use the whole set. Start with 4 or 5 pairs, and increase from there. These cards can also be used to play Go Fish, playing in either language. There are a few errors, including raccoon being misspelled, and the dove being called a pigeon. At first, the booklet with a page for each animal seemed a positive feature. But the vocabulary in the booklet is not written at a kindergarten level, and some grammar was lacking: "The zebra [is] an iconic and majestic member of the equine family..." "Cow is large, domesticated, bovid ungulates, mature female cattle." It is written only in English (many families in our area are Spanish speaking and wanting to learn English!), which is contrary to this being a bilingual activity.Overall, the cards are great for playing Memory and Go Fish; they are thick enough to be easy to pick up and the pictures are clear and distinct. It works for building vocabulary. It's a shame Maetrix didn't apply the same quality standard to the language part as this could have been a spectacular product.
