For ultimate versatility, PodMic USB features both XLR and USB-C connectivity, for compatibility with traditional audio interfaces and mixers as well as computers

When used as a USB mic, the integrated headphone port can be used for zero-latency monitoring, and has a dedicated volume control to adjust your monitoring level
An internal shock mount reduces the sound of knocks and vibration, whilst a built-in pop filter and external pop filter work in tandem to tame plosives for natural, clear voice reproduction
Rugged design with solid, all-metal construction for years of reliable use

Title: Great quality Mic with GREAT sound!
Review: So iâm very new to this whole world of microphones and podcasts/streaming and such and i wanted to do it right. Started with a Tonor TC30 but quickly realized my voice sounded very flat. I moved onto the Rode xdm100 and i swear i tried my hardest to love it but the software wasnât helpful at all and no matter what i connected it to, my audio was barely audible. I had to crank up the volume during playback and it just wasnât working. After seeing and reading TONS of reviews, i was convinced that the Rode Podmic was the way to go. Finally, everything sounded absolutely perfect!! The mic is shorter than the xdm100 and way less bulky. It is literally the perfect mic for me, the key selling point is the usb c connection. I did not want to have to get an xlr connector and then pay spend more on an interface to just record my videos for my youtube. Super simple, plug and play and enjoy!!! 5 stars!!

Title: Big investment for a mic, well worth it
Review: We do a lot of streaming, and I've been using a generic usb while my girlfriend uses a Blue Yeti. I did a lot of research and decided I needed a dynamic mic; the mic sat in my cart for a while because it's a big investment, I researched others brands and finally decided on this one. It's solid and if you get the desk stand, it works well when you don't need the mic need to push aside. The audio is night and day with other mics I have, and the Rode Unify software adds noisegate features and more which works well so far.

Title: Defective Product with signs of being used before
Review: I bought this product on July 2024, but it was not unpacked until December 2024. The product looks great. The manufacturers offers some very useful software to be used with the microphone. This is the first time I have bought a podcast microphone. To my surprise, the microphone does not work. I have tried it on several computers and the behavior is the same on all of them. Even when the microphone is detected, there is no audio output on either the XLR or USB interface. The only thing that works is the audio output for the headphone. There are some scratches around the joint between the base and the microphone, which makes me think it was used at some point. I wouldn't want to doubt the quality of this microphone, but I wonder where the quality control was that failed to detect this defective microphone. Unfortunately, at the time of uncovering it, the date for returns had already passed.

Title: Micrófono Rode Podmic USB

Title: No Mixing
Review: I use a USB mic for work meetings and I love tinkering with VST plug-ins. No one sounds as good as I do in meetings. The mounting clip on my very old NT-USB broke so I figured it was time for an upgrade and I chose the PodMic USB.I really like that the majority of filters are processed directly in the mic, and once you set them up in the RODE app, you don't need the app anymore. The settings are stored on the mic. I tuned it to my liking and I started using it directly instead of through OBS and it sounded fantastic. So, why only 4 stars? They removed a feature that I teally liked. The NT-USB's zero latency monitor had a dial on it to control thw mix between the loop back and the computer audio. The PodMic USB has a single control that just changes the volume of the headphone output with no way of balancing the mix when monitoring. I can change the sensitivity of the mic, but that reduces the volumn of my voice everywhere. I can do it in my mixing software and turn off the zero latency monitor, but then i can hear the delay and it ends up being too distracting.

Review: After owning an HyperX Quadcast for a short amount of time, it quickly became clear to me that a needed a dynamic microphone for better sound quality. I hesitated between the PodMic USB and the Shure MV7, but went with the Rode for the lower price, longer 5 year warranty and easy in-app sound customization. Perfect for my home office and budding podcaster setup. The big plus is the XLR connexion that would allow me to grow with this mic, which makes the investment worth a shot.Only downside so far is that the microphone loses connexion when on Google Meet calls though USB, a problem that gets fixed as soon as I unplug and replug it.
