A collection of moments that capture confusion, love, thoughtfulness, and learning that was found through a life lived full of experiences and that have no easy answers. These poems may press on a pain that won't be gentle and dig up a forgotten hurt - needing to be unearthed. It's meant to expose hidden nerves not yet dealt with and maybe... you didn't know you wanted to feel. These words will find a way to tap into your own pulse, with startled and stunned emotions that move you. Let it stir up both the bitter and the sweet, speaking directly to your experiences. Reflections used wisely to let you know we are never truly alone, and hopefully help you navigate this strange and wondrous life.

Title: Poetry that makes you think
Review: It did not sync with me most of the time, but I suppose I was unable to tear myself away from the borders that fullstops and other sentence markings put you in. The lack of those made me elude the meaning of most of the poems, but nonetheless I enjoyed the journey through them. Some made me stop and rethink stuff from my own past and that is admirable in itself. I am no poetry expert here so read it and discover it for yourself. At least I think that for reading poetry you need a right set of mind to enjoy it and that was a thing lacking for me through this book. Probably gonna reread it some time from now and discover something more for myself. But I do agree with the title and gonna keep it for my mantra. Be kind. Be safe. Be human.

Title: Brilliant!
Review: I loved this book! As a woman I was highly intrigued by the male perspective in this raw and emotional gift to mankind. Since having read it several times now, I find myself sharing his work with my friends who have all enjoyed it as much as I. I’m excited to start reading its companion ‘cinders’ and looking forward to more literary genius from Owen D. Hill in the future.

Title: I loved this book!
Review: I loved this book! A nice collection of beautifully written, thought provoking poems about love and heartbreak, among other interesting subjects. It’s nice to see this subject matter addressed from a male POV. A very unexpected and pleasant suprise!

Review: I really enjoyed this book. "Very Aggressive Pole Dancer", "Ten Ways to Succeed with Them", and "Up All Night that Night" are just a few of the poems I find myself going back to time and time again.
