Title: Book is great... shipping was not good.
Review: This book is well written for the lay person to understand a myriad of law enforcement challenges. Very easy read with individual and group study guides (I read it in two days). I believe it to be over-priced, but what isn't over-priced in today's economy? About the shipping... I was NOT pleased. The package arrived open with no invoice and the exterior of the book dog-eared. No time to return it to Amazon, as I am preparing for university classes that start next month. The book gets 5:5 rating; the shipping gets 1:5 rating, I will likely not order my books from Amazon.

Title: Great overview on past, present, and future aspects of policing!
Review: I had to purchase this book for one of my classes and I found it to be extremely interesting and well written. It is very easy to read and understand. The author does a great job of presenting material in such a manner where he uses past events to explain current police issues and how current issues are being used as guides to future police standards.

Title: Book repeats itself.
Review: The book is interesting at first, but then it repeats itself towards the end. I am not sure why it repeats itself so much, but it does and it is kind of annoying.
