Avoiding marriage proves challenging for one young lady when she sees what’s become of her friend’s brother in this steamy Regency romance series opener.

Known as the Daring Three, a trio of exquisite young women are taking London by storm. But if Lady Millie Aldon has her way, no man will win her hand in marriage—not even the one she loves . . .

A Passion For Adventure

Drawn to a life of excitement and risk, Lady Millie Aldon made a pact to forsake marriage. But her plans are thrown into chaos when Chase Wentworth returns to town. The lanky lad she remembers from childhood is now the Marquess of Chaselton, possessing an air of mystery Millie can’t resist. As Chase moves through London’s elite circles, his stealth manner has Millie convinced he harbors a secret—one she is determined to reveal . . .

A Dangerous Seduction

As Millie makes a game of observing Chase’s every move, she finds her attraction to him unsettling. When a stolen kiss threatens to turn their flirtation into something more powerful, she questions her vow of freedom. But Millie has no idea of the danger she’s facing. Chase has a complicated past—and his clandestine efforts to expose a traitor will soon provide a more perilous—and passionate—adventure than Millie could ever have planned . . .

“Book one in Sinclair’s new trilogy is spectacular. It’s a delightful romp full of wild escapades, dangerous spies, secret codes, vengeful traitors and wicked liaisons.” —RT Book Reviews

Title: Sinclair just keeps getting better!
Review: I will not go into the plot, others have done that. I will just say I purchased Michele Sinclair's debut novel because I like to give new authors a chance. She impressed me so much I went on to keep an eye out for her books, she has since moved up to a MUST READ author in my book. A Woman Made For Pleasure has shown me her writing, though excellent from the start, just keeps getting better in better. This novel keeps you engaged from page one. Some of my recent must buy purchases have left me feeling vaguely dissatisfied when the book was done. This was not the case with A Woman Made for Pleasure, I turned off my kindle with a smile and a contented sigh.

Title: Good Read
Review: For a lot of romance novels I skip over many passages because they are boring and have no real point but to take up space. I didn't skip over any passages in this book and really enjoyed getting to know the characters. The plot was believable with the imminent danger being plausible I find often with regency novels that the bad guy is a bad guy for no real reason. Power and greed (and not wanting to be caught) have always been motivators and it makes this bad guy more believable. I appreciated the Arthur's note in the beginning about the history maybe not being correct. I really enjoyed myself reading this novel and look forward to the next installment hopefully it is Amie and Reece's story.

Title: Can't wait for the next book.
Review: I truly enjoyed the characters in this book. No one character really stood out. Each one was essential to the story. I knew Millie would be first one married as she was the one who most objected to it. She is a very spirited and enjoyable person. The plot was good and kept my interest. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Title: Somewhat Disappointing
Review: Ms. Sinclair raised my hopes with her introduction and I thought this romance would contain more actual history and perhaps some characters from the past. In fact there were only two brief references to the Battle of New Orleans. Not only that, but the heroine, Millie, seemed rather 20th Century in her attitudes for an early 19th Century lady. Also, many of her actions were not appropriate for the time period. To give two examples, a young lady of her status would not have gone into a salon in her home with Marston without her chaperone and then closed the door. Also, a young lady would not have danced the waltzed before having permission to do so from the patronesses of Almacks. On the other hand, Chase the hero was more believable and seemed like a great character. The plot picked up as the book went along and there were even a couple of surprises along with the nice love story. I especially liked the theme of Lady Wentworth taking the two motherless girls under her wing and raising them like her own daughter.I read lots of historical romance but especially prefer books with real real historical figures or events incorporated into the plot. Barbara Samuels, Monica McCarty and Beatrice Small are all authors who do this successfully.

Review: As with many books of this genre that are written by people not really conversant with Regency manners or behaviour there are many ' faux pas' regarding speech, manners/modes/colours of permitted dress etc etc. However, for all that I enjoyed it and will buy the next two in the series [ I'm presuming there will be two more].

Review: I enjoyed the book but felt it needed more sexy steamy action early on it has too much teasing and the build became frustrating a good romance nowadays needs to be exciting romantic but also steamy. I have liked her previous work and will read the next book but really wanted this couple to get it together and give into their passion a lot earlier in the book. They were too controlled and typically British. More passion please.
