Title: Exciting Read into "real" peoples sex lives!
Review: I recommend this book. It is a small book but at a good price. Although, I am divorced right now I believe this will help me in the future when I meet the right man. I can take some ideas in my marriage that I didn't have before with my first marriage. One needs to be open-minded about Sex.

Title: typical drivel
Review: This book, while promising some interesting reading, is written and edited (or collected) by authors having little literary endearment. The scenarios seemed trite and second-hand and only sightly interesting, but even so, very contrived. I would question the authors intent, as a work such as this seemed quite outside their actual fields of knowledge and creative ability, whether fact or fiction.

Title: Your not just reading smut, you are promoting your marriage
Review: I could not take this book as a serious sex therapy consult, but it is light porn with all that implies. The Best Sex I Ever Had carries a copyright of 1992.In it Seven and Iris Finz have combined two conventions then or previously common in the production of polite porn. Yes Porn. As in: so not for the kiddies. In the days before the internet placed every hormonal adolescent teen one .com away from an advanced education this was likely to be found in many a private reading cache.Against a possible charge of having no "redeeming social importance”, each of the ten parts of the book is introduced with a helpful promise that the variation in sexual taste is hotter than the reader may have previously enjoyed, but neither uncommon nor unhealthy. This introduction proves that the book is a marital aid and therefore not subject to being banned. This tradition of introducing an open p[portrayal of sexual activity as being done only in the name of promoting domestic tranquility was out dated by this time, but still provided a beard to the reading of smut. The above quoted formula was a test from Roth vs The US, 1957 which had been superseded by Miller V California 1973. If social importance was not exactly a legal requirement, this pretense no doubt help the Literary Guild to justify it as a selection. The second long standing convention in the publication of smut was representing the contents as the first person testimony of the people, in this case the couple engaged in naked fun day. This are the words of the people doing these things and by hearing shall make you free. Go forth and do likewise. The authors had a practice of this kind of first person narrative sex related books. I cannot gain say their efforts. Nothing here is that extreme or unlikely and if these named couples did not exist there is no reason to believe that there were and are others like them. The authors may have been some early version of sex therapist or follow on Kinsey researchers, but I found nothing under their names in a few minutes of determined on line searches.Of the 10 parts in the book, nothing is particularly extreme. There is a section on group sex and some very light B and D. The remaining topics are almost innocuously innocent except that practicing couples give in their own explicit words some more or less graphic depictions of how the couple found their way to their shared stairway to heaven. There is some value to The Best Sex I Ever Had if used by couples seeking to add some variety to their conjugal sports. It may matter to them that these be real people. At most we can credit this book as a tool for opening dialoged between people. Not a bad thing. Otherwise the text is porn light and may represent a bridge between those looking for more blatantly obscene sexual narrative and those preferring less.

Title: Exciting ideas ...
Review: This book is about real people, in real situations. Everything from experimenting with the same sex to the taboo or interracial sex, it is one book that inspires one to try new things. 'Nuff said.
