Title: Nice unit I keep in my office
Review: Got this unit to have an inexpensive small blender in my office - to make an occasional protein shake for breakfast or lunch. I like that it is corded, I didn't want to deal with a rechargeable battery, and I don't need to use the blender on the go. This blender fits the bill just right. It is powerful and not too noisy, and does the job very quickly, so in just a few seconds of buzzing you are done.The one thing I don't like that much is that the lid is not screwed on, it's just put on top of the cup and pressed until it clicks. This means that you need to take care when taking it off as to not splatter all over yourself whatever liquid is still in there, and to not carry it while holding it by the lid, as it may detach.The blender is advertised as having a travel cup. That's a bit of a stretch. All the travel you can do with it is drink from it on the go while holding it upright. You can't drop it in your backpack or attach it to your bike, as the liquid would leak from the drinking spout, or the lid may completely detach and spill the contents. I don't really need to travel with this cup, but be aware if you do need that feature.

Title: Not great with frozen fruit
Review: I'm not sure how this blender is supposed to work for smoothies. It doesn't do a good job with frozen fruits.I use the half cup of liquid like the instructions say, but it won't blend halved frozen strawberries. I wonder if the frozen pieces are too big?The blades never get stuck, but they push the fruit away and kinda create an air pocket where nothing gets blended. I'm having to constantly stop to push the fruit down, only to be able to blend for a few seconds. It's a bit annoying.Instructions don't mention anything about the size of the pieces, whether to hold down the button or to pulse, anything about making smoothies. They're rather vague and short.

Title: Started smoking with first use!
Review: Before I got the small blender I was using my $15 garage sale full size blender to make smoothies. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just big. I was excited to get the small one because it wouldn’t take up so much counter space. But, on the very first use, I put in the milk, yogurt, a little ice, some honey, 1Tbsp. protein powder, and then the frozen berries. It filled the cup. I turned it on and held the button down for a while, then I started to pulse on and off a few times. It took quite a while to see the ingredients start to combine. Then, I smelled something. I looked up from the blender and saw smoke above it floating up toward the kitchen cabinets. I immediately unplugged the blender, got my handy kitchen blender out and dumped the unmixed smoothie ingredients into it. A couple minutes later I was enjoying my three berry smoothie like always.I don’t trust it. I don’t like it. It’s not safe. I don’t want it! I don’t think that little blender is reliable or has the power necessary to handle the job. Those itty bitty blades, compared to the size of the blades and the power of my full size kitchen blender, and I know how long and how much power it took in that. And, I have the attachment for that blender to make real honest-to-goodness milkshakes! Yummy!The manufacture’s warranty would have made me pay to ship the device to them so they could repair it (?), AND pay for the shipping back to me. I paid $22.52 including tax. It hardly seemed fair that I should incur even more expense for something that I didn’t even get one smoothie out of. So I called Amazon Customer Service, and as is usual for them, they accommodated me without any trouble. They agreed to give me a full refund and I could put the blender in the garbage where it belongs!

Hay que tener cuidado y transportarlo siempre en posición vertical, para evitar derrames en la mochila o en el coche.
