Title: Very Loud and durable
Review: I got this speaker because a coworker had the same one. I don't like dragging the big bulky ones people use for gatherings around so I was looking for a smaller speaker that's also loud. I work in a factory that allows us to listen to music during our shift so I needed something loud and durable. Bonus I can pair it to my coworker and we really jam out. We take it when we go fishing during the summer now too. This little thing is amazing. Sound quality is great too even at high volume with no distortion. Overall for everything I'm very happy, well worth the money spent, lightweight and simple easy design

Title: I listened to this speaker for ten minutes and ordered a second one - UPDAte
Review: The reviews were pretty good, the Black Friday price was really low and I needed a speaker to listen to in the backyard. When it arrived, I charged it up and then opened youtube. I listen mostly to classical and jazz. One of the first tracks that was offered was the last movement of the Organ Symphony by Saint-Saëns. This is a really severe test because there are low organ notes while the orchestra is playing so the intermodulation distortion can be very obvious. I didn't expect this speaker to sound acceptable on this track but it was really good.I took it out in the back yard and the volume was still acceptable. I played some live recordings and the applause sounded realistic (not like waves on a shingle beach).Don't expect miracles from these speakers - they don't sound as good as, for example, Tanchjim One earbuds connected to a Fosi Audio DS2 DAC. But for inexpensive portable speakers they are amazing.My ears are pretty ancient but they are well-calibrated - I've been to three symphony concerts in the last month so I know what live performance sounds like. Trust me, you should buy this speaker.Ok, I received a second speaker and paired it with the other one. The instructions say to press the |><| button but I couldn't get it to set up that way. The method that worked for me was to make sure the computer Bluetooth was turned off, power up both Bugani speakers so they link up, then link to the computer. The first speaker to power up is the right channel. I had to do this only once - after that I could power up the speakers even if the computer Bluetooth was on and it would work fine.As you can see in the picture, I stood the speakers on end. It's a smaller footprint and the treble sounds a bit smoother than in the normal orientation. On the other hand, there seemed to be less bass. Either way, they sound pretty good, though on classical music I can notice distortion if I crank the volume up too far.Pretty good speakers for the size. The birds seemed to enjoy the music, too. Title: Could use a fast charge option.
Review: Rugged portable speaker, loud enough for outdoor use. I have an installed outdoor stereo with great speakers. It requires a dedicated app and my wife gets frustrated trying to use it. This works directly off of our smartphones, with whatever streaming service, or with the music files stored on your phone.The battery takes a while to charge if you run it out. A quick charge battery option wold be great. The "TF" (micro SD memory card) option works great, but as near as I can tell, you have no way to select what plays. It just runs through the card in order. A party mix SD card, would be a great, and easy way, to provide mobile music. I tried several open source, and lossless file formats, and unbelievably, it played them. I'm sure it would play those nearly worthless (IMHO) .mp3 files too. Two woofer speakers, and two tweeter speakers, up front. There is two things on the back, people are calling "sub-woofers". I believe they are actually, mass loaded passive (bass) radiators. That is an improvement over a ported enclosure (not waterproof) or a sealed air suspension cabinet (inefficient). I have no idea if they are "optimized" for the bass drivers, and phase coherency, but they do add the bass punch people like for dance parties. Sounds better than most "boom boxes", and simple to pair and play. Audiophile quality? Not even close, for critical high definition playback, in a controlled environment. They are not made (or priced) for that. Mobile music with an outdoor amplified vibe, and extra bass, that is what this Bluetooth audio appliance does well. With an equalizer application, you can adjust the sound coloration, and turn the volume down, for ambient background music indoors. Very nice for the price, especially compared to some of the other more compact, Bluetooth, battery powered, mobile speakers that mumble something barely recognizable as music. The only inconsistency I discovered with mine so far is: The book says the charging indicator LED, (NOT the front upper left status LED) will switch from red to blue when the battery is at 100%. Mine does not, it goes from solid red to blinking red. As someone else explained, you can check the battery state of charge, with the Bluetooth app on your smart phone, once you are paired.
